When we looked at the weather and saw winds with gusts up to 50 mph, we knew this was our chance. While everyone else was hiding in their houses, we went and played on the water. The wind died halfway through and the swell size decreased dramatically but we still had the time of our lives.

How much do you weigh with the wetsuit? I also live in Seattle, and I was planning on doing this exact downwind run.

It’s thicker and doesn’t break in half when you try to learn a backflip. Other then that, it is pretty much the same. I like to pump on the red board because it is lighter and thinner. Both are great boards!

This orange board is actually the same length as the red one.
Do you prefer a 75cm or 85cm mast for pumping???

Would you recommend this foil for surfing way behint a boat, while my mate is wakesurfing?

Yes I would! While it does not carve great compared to smaller foils, with this foil I have been able to surf 25 waves back behind our boat!
