Having just arrived from Belgrave with empty cars, 14A runs around the train to return with a charter group. On return to Belgrave, the carriages will be combined with the luncheon train and double head to Lakeside and back.

Yes - still an active volunteer although Covid put paid to 2020. My last rostered run was December 2020 but hopefully try and get back on the roster soon.

The turbo is used but only at night to power the loco lighting.

Cheers for that mate I thought they might use it in the day as a safety feature like mainline locomotives. I suppose it would use up more fuel on an already limited capacity. It was great to see your role on the railway and the enginuity of the VR of the 20th century
