Everywhere I've been in Europe - France, Germany, Hungary, Czechia, Netherlands - serves beers in McDonald's. As you said, it's down to the drinking culture in the UK that we don't do it here.

I can honestly say that not only the UK gets stitched up but Canada does too! As a Brit living in Canada and having been around the World I can Honestly say that the McOz burger in Australia is by far the best but I haven't had the 3 cheese that @OGDuffy had. That looked good

Probably fair to say that the Mcdonalds selection is yet another thing we get stitched up with it the UK, the menu there looked vastly better with far more options

Glad you had a crack at Mahou mate, a lovely drop over in Spain and The Canary Islands. I hope you had a wicked holiday with Mrs OG. I definitely want to try those chips and I would of had that bourbon burger. I've never seen and egg on burger over here at Macca's. I'm quite partial to one myself, on a burger.

Little OG loves an egg on his burger. So much more choice in Spain than the UK.

Those fries with bacon looked YUM! I’m an oddity for various reasons lol but one is that I’m not a Big Mac fan; however loads of the burgers on the Tenerife menu looked right up my street 😮

You can get a beer at Burger King in Glasgow, albeit Glasgow Airport.

That 2nd piece of cheese was that vegan by any chance because it doesn't look melted properly and vegan cheese melts like rubber Im abit concered about the beer it was either not filled up properly or it had a low head on it. Apart from that it looks quite nice 🙂

I have stopped going to Mcdonalds where I live the quality control is appalling cold half cooked chips a burger that has been made using a catapult I have given up with them but the Spanish Mcdonalds is on another level. I got 4 bottles of that Mahou for £3.99 in Home Bargains earlier in the year and I have never seen it in the UK before it was 5.1% volume I have only ever seen it in Spain they sell it as an alternative to San Miguel as it's not so gassy. They also do beer as a drink in Mcdonalds in Belgium and as you will know Belgian beers can be very serious drinking
