Great new series!! I am curious to see what happens if you build some pedestrian / bicycle paths connecting the districts. I don't know how far they can reach without any kind of vehicle.

Congratulations on the new series with an interesting concept. When you first mentioned it, I didn't expect the road options were not available, only rail, cable, water, and air. I will watch how the city develops using these available options. Just one question for the moment: Why 2 cable lines when it could be a single line with the residential zone station as the transit station?

A bit late to the party, but to answer your question: yes they can, if they want to. I highly recommend the YT channel NotJustBikes, he will explain everything simpel and clearly why public transport rules and what cities can do to achieve it.

There will be a lot of pathways, in the beginning I just wanted to make the city sustainable and profitable, I wanna get away from the grids asap;)

You can connect districts with a small single Road and make it available only for services cars with the mod. This would solve the services problem

That would be against the rules though, don't wanna use TM in a way that would make this challenge impossible in Vanilla.

I meant the "beautiful cities" series BTW when I said the 2020 series, I have them mods in the description of that series and we add more the further we progressed, it's almost 100 videos that series.

Btw if you want to do this in large scale, you will need a mod which handles the spawn of service vehicles for unreachable roads. Otherwise you will have the same problems as your road to a million serie.

also when i'm searching for 81 tiles i found 5 mods called 81 tiles. so not very helpful my friend :/

i would love to live in a place where i can bike to a mass transit cable train system over a river to work at a fusion reactor or something cool like that, then go back over the river to the city

From what I understood, this feature has been disabled. I would have to type everything out in the editor to make the captions. Up till recently the subtitles were generated automatically.

I could, but as mentioned I wanna take an approach that isn't dependent on mods.

you were speaking super fast the whole time. It was annoying to see micromanagement when you still had $380k and ended with $280k after buying the metro stuff. But i think it would be cool to see a city full of public transit only.

@@Nathans-Sandbox Well, up to the certain point, i agree, but problem is that it makes you lazy and then ya start overusing it instead of finding proper solutions (therefore makin some things kinda ugly in the long run, mainly if used on roads). I know, because i ussually end up doing it too tho :F
