So true, literally them deleting every single audio on the platform literally broke so many games and made them not be able to function if the dev either barely updates that game or since most people weren't even able to make audios. I’m wondering how this will handle video game music. Like capcom’s “bury the light” and other devil may cry audios aren’t copyrighted on KZread, so maybe it’ll be possible.

There should have been an ingame feedback system that ask users who play on old games that no longer get updates by the developer if action needs to be taken manually to review the missing audio and find a solution from the very start. This idea would work if human moderation was a thing on the platform.

I got sad news guys, basically, this update doesn't let you play ANY AUDIOS in ANY GAME, You are unable to play your audios in the game unless the owner of the game has the audio in their inventory. This “public audios” feature essentially just allows anyone who wants access to your audio to access your audio, instead of only people you are friends with or games you have team create access to.

seems like roblox is finally taking some steps in the right direction. theyve been finally interacting with the community more. the hunt and the classic event seem like good steps in the right direction.

I still seriously doubt this, since when has roblox EVER given us even the tiniest bit of hope?

bypassing audios is what made roblox fun, i agree some stuff wasnt really ideal, but most bypasses were music and they were really good music, hell some artists got known from roblox such as p4rkrr, lieu, etc.

When roblox says they need a grant. Its because if you are the true owner of the audio, you can strike/sue roblox for allegedly allowing the audio. So adding the grant and the legal notices makes it more airtight to stop incidents like this.

i hope you're able to talk about the new update regarding roblox audios, you need to be 13+, id verified and can only upload up to ten second sfx to the creator catalog (no music). i can say this is a step in the right direction but i'm still sad we're unable to use other people's audio in-game (as of now, only devs can use the public ones for their experiences).

honestly the only issue i see with this is that we won't be able to play our favourite songs anymore since first of all either you or someone whos id + age verified needs to upload the song and secondly they need to own the song to even upload it in the first place, no more fnaf 1 song....,....

But what if you HAD to upload a sound effect from a different artist, but DID give them credit beforehand?
