Shea and Kaleb head out to a new piece of public land they have been scouting from the road. With Intel on some good bucks around the plan is to sneak in with the decoy to an area we can see the most and do a few calling sequences. Later in the day we head back to the permission farm in hopes of catching a mature buck on his feet in the evening.

Ran my DSD decoy twice this last week of iowa early season. Does were terrified and bucks wouldn't challenge. Think does are tired of being harassed and bucks are wore out from fighting. Good luck hope you find the one that wants to go 1 more round.

Thanks for sharing Jessie! We were trying to target that split brow buck in particular and with how aggressive he's been in past years we thought it may work. Shocked us to see the 4yr pushing him around! Still seeing bucks locked down with does shockingly. Goodluck the rest of season man!
