better than tarkov. even as a scav you sound likee a 300 pound man running with a bag of empty cans in the PNW

What really fascinates me about Pubg is the sound design, like I watched this video with headphones and man you can tell exactly where the shots are coming from and where they hit, its so good.

Footsteps sound like ass though. Most of the time you can’t hear someone running up to you, but probably top 5 gunshot audio of all games

Yeah the sounds themselves don't really tickle my fancy, but you can ACTUALLY HEAR THEM. So many games fuck up audio

It regularly exceeds 500k daily players, right in this moment its the second most played game on steam, right after counter strike. Its insane how they conserved their player count over the years, considering what an utterly crap game pubg actually is.

@@lukaslanger8077 divide the player count with the available maps to choose from and also with available game modes .... Unlike apex , warzone and fortnite where only 1 map is available for everyone at a time

looking at pubg always gives me nostaglia when you find your self on the OG maps

I’m actually going to install the game again. I haven’t played it at least 5 years. Just burned myself out and the game seemed to be going in a direction I wasn’t interested in. But they seem to be making changes to make it feel new and fresh

Pubg is still the best BR game to this day. The gunplay, along with the TTK and the hardcore feeling it brings, makes it the best. It still makes your heart rate go up when you're in the final few circles

@@trumpcard6837 Pubg is focussed on looting, shooting, positioning, tactics, teamwork. In Fortnite your focus is looting, hacking materials, building tricks and skills. Fortnite teamplay is dumb, once boxed in youre all on your own against a hyper schoolboy who practices keyboard strokes in a build server all day.... shooting and teamplay is much more important in PUBG.

yup I still prefer pubg gameplay. COD warzone is too stressfull to me because of all the action to the point I don't have fun playing it anymore. pubg feels twice as good when getting a kill vs warzone it feels more personal. if only there is no cheater, pubg is still the best to play multiplayer online for me. pubg should make the rank the same as classic as well so the game will be longer a little bit.

Love watching you play this. Where every decision matters and has consequences. Keep the pain coming Jack.

Pubg used to be my main game for a few years since its Xbox launch day one. But at some point they added just one to many new game mechanics and it sort of shifted into a different game. It’s hard to explain but it just wasn’t the same

Yeah same here, I preferred it when the game was simple, way too much in the game nowadays. I went to Warzone when it first released and it was better. PUBG feels much clunkier, the responsiveness is just poor compared to newer games.

it has horrible optimisation and eats up all your CPU power, I have an old quad core with 4ghz and I can barely get 30fps if it doesn't crash immediately after joining a match

I love PUBG solos. Started playing back in the early access days, I don't play it much anymore but still will go back to it and play it for a few weeks here and there a couple times a year.

first time i met jackfrags was the first time i saw pubg... about 7 years age. happy anniversary to us all.

The first person experience of pubg is practically non existent in PUBGm

It got bad with hackers and not much stuff in it. But now its good to just jump back into some action. Love it.

The P90 actually is very strong. It is an airdrop weapon, and in CQC it drops enemies like no tomorrow. Of course it sucks at anything beyond 100 meters, but it is still fun trying. The foldable sight is neat.

It needs a full retexture and sound upgrade, though.. they should just make PUBG 2 from the ground up on UE5, rather than switch.

Pubg still has the same concurrent players 2 years ago and today. Lol. it never left. But atleast, out of 10 games, I don't encounter cheaters nowadays, unlike before.

The P90 shreds in that game and use C or Space to rotate forward or backward when in the air on a motorcycle/quad.

I started watching PUBG from your videos. I've been playing here and there, but my squad won't get with it. Nice to see you playing it again.

Some say that Dino Land is still haunted to this day.

I honestly hate the movement in games like this. They're always spazzing around crouch and standing, or side wobbling. I love the gunplay and hardcore aspects of it, but the movement is so scuffed sometimes. There should probably be a mechanic that makes them slow down from all that movement spamming like how BF4 limited sprints from bunny hoppers, or BF1 limiting sprinting for about a second after tbagging/crouch standing lol

The movement is great in pubg. Although I do wish they’d nerf the leaning so you can’t just spam right to left and shoot accurately. The wiggle shooting def ruins the gunplay a bit imo

They should make the movement like Ground Branch. Limited stamina, no bunny hopping. Just realistic movement. Go back to larger maps with more sparse rural areas and cities... making vehicles more of a necessity. Catering to toxic movement spamming sweaty pros/cheaters is what kinda killed the game for many.

Laying prone in grass at 17mins hides you if people are close but at diatance it doesn't render so you appear to be laying in the open fields😂

hopefully they do some big optimizations and performance changes with the engine change because I went from being able to play with 70+ fps to not even being able to run the game

I miss PUBG, I try to get back into it every once in a while but I feel like the anticheat isn't really working. A 2.0 would do wonders for this game, both for performance and movement.

No BR/MP shooter has ever given me that PUBG feeling. Just the pure adrenaline and excitement of fights and the final circle... Absolutely loved this game for the first couple of years. I'll definitely be installing it tonight in preparation of this upcoming patch.

Jack is PUBG paying you for these video titles? lol every month you say it’s “back” it’s still the same old PUBG. What they need to do is a whole new game specifically for next gen consoles

As a PUBG lover I really wish they would almost remaster the game. Make better less sluggish movement, keep the amazing gun play, redo the maps, update visuals. I think it would really fit well into the current game atmosphere.

8:10 the top of your head peaks out first before your eyes, taking corners slow gets you eliminated pretty quickly in my experience.

Would need some major gameplay loop and UI updates before I'd be willing to go back to pubg personally. Pretty cool its still going tho
