My cousin has been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma in the esophagus. His age is 32 and he has lost almost 12 kilograms in the past three months. His esophagus is now blocked, preventing him from eating by mouth. The doctors performed a surgery to provide liquid nutrition directly to his stomach. However, no treatment for the cancer has been started yet. Doctors said he is too weak for surgery. If chemotherapy and radiation therapy are administered, how long is he likely to survive?

Sir, most people usually find out they have cancer after it has reached the third stage and symptoms have appeared. How can we detect cancer earlier, in the first or second stage?
