6:40-6:48 is my favorite part. I'm so glad Avi is happy making his own music now.

This version is so much clearer visually and audibly... and you get to hear everything and see them all thru out the song!! Love it!

I agree!

Matthew is sweet, and he's got a lovely personality, but he doesn't own a bel canto base as has Avi. His basso profundo is extraordinary, not just for its depth, but its tone. I miss it still.

This is definitely the best video of this performance. The interaction between Kevin and sweet Avi at the end of 4 5 seconds is captivating. It cracks me up how Avi has the lowest voice and then here's Kevin with this high voice coming in and Avi looks so small next to him, it's a cute ironic contrast of sorts lol. I know this is an old video but if anybody sees this and gets upset and thinks I'm saying Avi is small...I'm not lol....just way smaller than Kevin and Scott 😜, who are both pretty tall and big in Kevin's case😉

I love the Singapore recording but this one is outstanding. How does it not have more views???

It doesn't focus on Mitch as much. The cell phone recording pretty much lives on Mitch and shows the ultimate Mitch slap. This one sounds better, but missed the truly amazing Mitch experience.

@@heidifruchtl354 True - this is still a nice treat, and not just for PTX fans, isn't it? A great performance of a difficult song with good sound and video quality. People might enjoy watching it. - Are there any others like this? I know of one that is with orchestra (which I personally do not enjoy as much; to me, the orchestra doesn't "work" with the arrangement).

@@ulrichvonbek1618 not sure. Honestly. I think the pop spring concert clips are about where you want to go. I've been to a PTX concert. Fabulous. Hubby took me a few years ago. And I loved it. He likes PTX, but not as familiar with their music. He didn't recognize the evolution of Rhianna medley, the video hadn't dropped yet, their original can't sleep love, and wanted to leave before the encore, Bohemian rhapsody. Love him, but wanting to leave before the encore, seriously...

HOW DOES THIS NOT HAVE MORE VIEWS!!!!!!!!!!!! 1000 times better then when it was sung in Singapore!!!!!!

Because while the video and audio quality is better, the Singapore video is so popular because Mitch was absolutely on fire. This one doesn’t even do a shot of him as he sings the famous high notes. Most people watch the Singapore video because of Mitch’s performance that night.

The first part of this video reminds me of the reason why I love PTX so much. Literally Bliss! Stupefied, mouth hanging open joy from those voices. I am glad they found Matt, but Avi had "it". Oh how I miss him.

I think they know it in retrospect. Every one of them are perfectionists, and boy can you tell. But take out the BIG perfect voice, replace it with Matt's warm sound and it just not pentatonix to me. The grit and grind plus the emotional longing Avi brings to the table and they just aren't as good. Still mind blowing, but where are the grammys? Where are the album sales? What have they done really BIG without Avi? He never got the recognition he deserved. Just my opinion.

It's obvious from his solo work how good a songwriter he is and although songs like 'Run To You' are credited to them all, they've done nothing comparable since he left.

I actually like this video better than AHA Singapore because whoever recorded that only focuses on Mitch, and while his vocals are incredible, the rest of them are lost. Thank you 😊

So Avi didn’t break the sound system after all. One of the Brit reactors thought that that it was the phonecam’s mics that couldn’t handle to low drops.

While I do not think PTX's new member is a bad singer; I feel AvI has a certain texture to his base singing, and he is able to make so many amazing rhythm and sounds. Much like the other members of PTX, AVI has a deep understanding of how to use his instrument/voice. Hopefully the new member of PTX can likewise develop his voice to the same degree as Avi. I wish all the members of PTX and Avi success in their careers.

This video has better video quality than the other aha performance vid on youtube but the audio is a bit weird for some reason. I'm not a sound engineer so idk whats missing but theres something off about the audio. Doesnt have the same effect

It was a Yahoo Live Nation recording, maybe that's why... The sound was captured differently, in order to diminish the crowd's noise.

Yes Christus Factos Est. Avi sang it in his college choir (there is a video of it) and persuaded the others to perform it.

I loved Avi also but you cannot compare the two. He pushed the envelope as far as he could push. With Matt I don't believe he has pushed his envelope yet and when he gets ready to do that I think he's going to blow a lot of people away. If you want to see Avi again I seen him in a couple songs with Home Free so if you want to see him again go check him out. I'm going to stay with what I love. He was great when we had him, but sometimes you have to let go. Starting over with a new singer is not always bad period and from what I have seen I really enjoy hearing Matt also.
