I would like to take a moment and thank you E2 and especially Jay!! I took 3 day off from work and prepared for PTE with all the videos from Jay. I was nervous before the exam as this was my 1st attempt but as Jay mentioned earlier when he took PTE how stressful the exam was, which kept me prepared. I got 75 overall, with all the E2 methods and how Jay describes them it felt easy and in the test with good practice these methods will actually take there own way to produce the answers. I really appreciate and am thankful to you guys for these videos.

Hi Jay, I'm Greg from Nigeria. Honestly i only had 2 days to prepare for this exam. I almost forgot my exam date, thankfully i set a reminder on my phone the day i registered for the TEST, the reminder was set to go off just 2 days before the test date.(what an unserious guy) Not until my reminder beeped me, i had no clue when my exam date was. I quickly scrambled to the internet looking for a miracle..lol. Then i came across your lessons here. I took my time to look through the TEST pattern and i quickly identified my weaknesses so i focused on them. To cut the long story short, i got my test scores yesterday and i got 82. I got perfect 90 in writing and Listening, way beyond what my institution needs. You are the best JAY! You literally saved my life. I am here to say THANK YOU JAY! You are the best. Your Nigerian Friend, Greg.

Gave test yesterday, got: R: 83, S: 78, L: 70, W: 71. Missed one write from dictation resulting in lower listening and writing. A big thank you for all detailed method’s tricks and explanations. Helped me a lot in deciding the approach for the test. I practiced each item individually, then gave two practice tests at official ptepractice.com then gave final test. Its all about method and improving on ur gaps by consistent practice of mock test. For pronunciation all you need is to use google translator or speechnotes.co to check if u spoke correctly. Use this when u give full mock test. I improved from 28 pronunciation in practice to 71 in real exam.

After which I was struggling immensely to formulate a plan, till I found your website and videos. Especially, your tips on 'Image description' and 'time management' were phenomenal. I followed all of your videos regarding PTE and applied all your theories on my test day! I tried giving IELTS twice before and always ended with 9 in Reading and Listening, 8.5 in Speaking but always 7.5 in Writing. That's when i decided to take up PTE. I gave my PTE test on 22nd Feb 2020 and I'm happy to inform you that i got an overall score of 90 with 90 in Writing, Reading, Speaking and Listening!!! So it was a winning streak and I couldn't have done it without your help! so THANK YOU so so much and I will definitely be recommending your channel and website to other PTE test takers! :)

Hi Jay, I am falling short of words to describe how awesome you are. I solely dependent on your videos apart from the practice materials of Pearson. With a preparation of just 6 days ( as in 58 hours to be precise), I achieved Overall 90 score. I was just shocked looking at my score. I blindly followed the strategies which you mentioned. In the essay, I got a Topic which I never heard of " Should universities develop digital media and stop updating textbooks." I had no idea what to write and yet by following your essay writing workflow I wrote the essay. You are a Genius. I didn't write any paid mock exam from Pearson site apart from the 3 practice test which is already given in the CD. There were many people in the test center who were writing the PTE exam for the 3rd time, 7th time. I complete the test in just 2 hours 22 minutes( i didn't intend to) while others were literally crying that 3 hours is not enough. I suggested them to go through your videos and subscribe to the study plan. I mean they have already spent a fortune by writing the PTE exam multiple times. You are awesome Jay. Donation is on its way very soon.

Abhishek Ganguly Oh alright. Can you clarify one more query for me: I have a query regarding this 'structure' in retell lecture/summarised spoken test. Do we have to be careful about the direct/indirect speech? Jay summarised this way: "Firstly, she mentioned that parents are not confident.." I think, in a strict grammar, this should have been "Firstly, she mentioned that parents were not confident.." This is true for all the sentences in this the summary that have been provided at the end of this video. Is it fine to go with this structure that has been provided or the little correction, that I'm talking about, is required? I would really appreciate if you reply.

The speaker was discussing parents' management of their children's eating habits. She opened by mentioning that overall most parents believe their children are eating healthy with only sixth of them maintaining that their children's diet is nutritious and only fourth of them thinking their child is not eating healthy. She explained that while parents understand the importance of a healthy diet, there are other factors involved in the nutrition equilibrium, such as time and effort considerations - including the parent's work and the child's preference. She gave an example of the frustration parents experience when a child refuses to eat a meal despite of the time and effort invested. She concludes by emphasising the tradeoff and tension between the foods children like and the health aspect.

Hi there Jay, Thank you for your uploads. I strive to pass the PTE A and have been your follower for a while now. I found the techniques presented in your videos are extremely helpful, giving me a quit clear perspective on how to strategically crush the exam. In regards to SST, I have a small question about the how summary text should be put together and hopefully you can answer that for me. I was told by another PTE tutor that answers should be organized in a story-telling format that is akin to to a small descriptive composition, as oppose to your structure which is similar to that of retelling lecture. I personally like your format better because of its straight forwardness in the content delivery. My question is, to the PTE scoring system, which structure would appear to be more legit as in giving higher marks, given that the information is of the same degree of accuracy on each format. Many thanks in advance for taking your time to view my post and I hope it would not appear too Jordan Schlansky to you. :) Regards, Tim

Hey Jay, pls review: The speaker was discussing the importance of healthy diets during childhood. He firstly mentioned that only few parents are confident about the good eating habits of their children. He also discussed some common challenges faced by parents in choosing a healthy diet. Finally, he suggested that there is difficulty in buying food for children as they need to choose between the food they like and healthy food.

The speaker was discussing the challenges of feeding their children as a good parenting. She mentioned most parents understand why we need to provide healthy nutritions to kids. In addition, she talked about half of parents already prepared heavy nutritional meal but few of parent don’t think about it at all. Because it is hard job to schedule and cook nice meals with fully nutrition all the time depending on their work roasters, incomes and knowledges of cooking and to feed children after cooking even if they want to have just a bite.

The speaker was discussing the importance of healthy diet in children. Firstly, she discussed that only 1/3rd of the families thought that their kids are eating healthy foods. She then went on to talk about factors like price of the food, picky eaters, and convenience. She mentioned that there is always an ongoing struggle while buying foods which the children like vs food that is healthy. Finally, she suggested that kids may not even take a bite of the food even if we spend a lot of time making it.

Hi, that video is quite good, thanks! I just have a question. In that kind of SST tasks, if we can not understand or catch a word such as "burdensome" in the example, what should we do on the relevant place? As an example, should I write like "She then talked about how making healty foods can be something." ? Or I might use "..." instead. So if you help me on this I would be grateful. thanks

Hi Jay, it was just 2 days before my test, I came across your tutorials.....can't thank you enough...amazing work...I scored the marks that I desired, just to share..it was during the listening part that there were 15 questions and I had 20 min....din't pay much attention to the time.......so couldn't complete last two questions, so I would tell the listeners, be quick and spend not more than 40-50 sec on each answer. Great job :) God bless
