I am sitting inside a temple with devotion and listening to a devine voice ,completely engrossed and tears rolled by out of fulfilment .You will always be in my heart GURUJI .

We in Karnataka ,call him " Lion of Hindustani classical music". Great Voice.

A melodious Raag made much more melodious and pleasant. Shut up the eyes and imagine the flow of various rivers, some silent, some slow, some rushing and many more indescribable and all of them meeting the ocean. That is भीमसेन, THE PANDITJI THE SUPREMO.

भिमसेन जोशी म्हणजे काय सांगणार भारताची शान एक मोठी युनीवर्सिटी कुठल्याही रागाची मांडणी असेना त्यांनी जे गायलेले आहे त्याचे पलीकडे असुच शकत नाहीं वरची तार लागल्या शिवाय रहात नाहीं फक्त शब्द सुध्दा अपुरे पडतात डोळे मिटुन आनंद घेणे

समस्त शारीरिक विकारों की दवा है पंडित जी की गायकी, ईश्वर आधुनिक विज्ञान को ज्ञान दे कि दुनिया भर के डरावने गीतों के बजाय ऐसी अदभुत कला को बतौर चिकित्सा पद्धति अपनाए।

I was fortunate to hear Panditji on different occasions,in different cities,his presentation of every raaga is just marvellous and unparallel.No one will be born here after who can close to him. Hare Krishna!

Ustad BGAK saab & ustad Amir Khan were the otehr 2 maestros who can render Malkauns the best, yet, even the Pundits & Ustads inadvertently places Punditji above even Ustad Amir Khan when it comes to Malkauns.

He has been a great classical singer! Once you start listening Raag Malkauns being sung by him, you never feel like stopping and keep on listening it continuously!

bhimsen joshi has earned his place in indian classical music - by working for it thru time and earned the title of pandit or better yet guruji......

Whenever I get time, I listen my most favourite raga malkauns sung by Panditji in as much as every day. There is nothing to say about his singing caliber, great. I am not the right person to say about his singing height. Pranam, Pranam, Pranam.

Can not be described in words. Robust vocal chords yet uninterrupted maintenance of Bhava, melody & karuna. The element of prayer, total surrender , melting of ones self (ego).... no can not be described in words

He is next to God in raga.

We used to call him lion and Pandit Balamurali Krishnan tiger. So, their jugalbandis were duets of tiger and lion and that is how we used to enjoy them.

Great voice and a moving performance. But isn't it weird that Malkauns, which uses Komal Ni, is sung to a tambura which is playing Shuddh Ni?

I don"t understand the abcd of classical music still I enjoy it very much.
