"I've lost time and time again. But now I've finally won." "Huh?" "Look! We launched them off safely. There's my victory. As long as they're in the air, I haven't lost. And I know they'll succeed." "Mmm hmmm hmmm hmmmm hmmmmmmm.... hmmm hmmm hmm hmmmm hmmmmm........"

Can we talk about how several years after playing this game the nostalgia and this cutsene are making me cry over an INANIMATE AIRCRAFT CARRIER. Its not even a person. It has no voice lines. It has no personality, and I'm starting to cry.

It’s like when we seen the USS Enterprise self destruct & burned in Genesis’s atmosphere.

Oka Nieba gets like 3 whole seconds and yet immediately became my favorite AWACS in the series in that small timeframe. God Bless Oka Nieba

i swear, Oka Nieba is the funniest AWACS of all AC games.

spoilers for ac7 Kestrel II is in the game, mentioned but never seen. There is a carrier named the “admiral andersen”. mission 20 and it’s run aground. In the cutscene, Avril (one of the narrators for the story) talks about how he was the admiral who launched kept the Kestrel together to allow a squadron of fighters to take off, and how they ended the war. In a way, AC7 is literally a huge homage to AC5 IMO. Not to mention the fact that Nagase is an astronaut after her dreams for interstellar expansion mentioned in AC5, and. that you fight in similar places from AC4, such as Stonehenge, and Farbanti (exactly 14 years to the date after AC4)

Dammit that part with all of the Squadrons joining up with you i love it so much

La La La... Listen to our beautiful voice. This is AWACS Oka Nieba. That would mean "Sky Eye" in your language. We got a message from your boss. I'll patch it in.

Came for the airplanes stayed for the heavy plot and intrigue, this game really stood out in the PS2 era back when this type of cinematic storytelling was just starting to take shape.

The world is most likely quite aware since AWWNB was like an international brigade, impossible to even try to keep that secret when you have loose ends all over the world

This is premium exposition. Well written and beautifully performed. Pops was a great character. Only the Kestrel's Captain could argued to be better. Perhaps Bartlett.

Daniel Rodriguez uh....there are other ships in the fleet? They will be picked up in a matter of minutes. Remember, it used to be the kestrel and aurora, then you rescue a bunch of defector ships from yuktobania. So there's a fleet.

Raptoras to be fair the mission before this you have to defend your fleet and Yuktobonian defectors... So you kinda get your wish.

If Sony wants to remastered something the NEED to remaster the Ace Series.

@@SladeAmsterdam granted but it was Namco that produced the games before they and Bandai became the same company. Also a remaster would require licenses from the aircraft manufacturers because those lapse after a few years

What is the title of the song

CIWS would not be that ineffective against incoming missiles, not to mention that non stealthy missiles somehow got the drop on an AEGIS equipped carrier? No way. They could also take more hits than that not to mention the hits were above the waterline... sheesh.

The kestral is a Hubert class aircraft carrier designed by grunder north osean industrys the simiularitys to our real world ships is the USS kitty hawk a kitty hawk class supercarrier.

But I think it's Nimitz class because the Kestrel's hull classification is CVN... And the Kitty Hawk is CV (conventional, diesel powered) and that's make me thinking that Kestrel is a Nimitz class

@@saelk.6628 The Hubert class that the Kestrel belongs to is a fictional name for the real-life Nimitz class. Hubert shares its name with Brian E. Hubert, a gunner's mate on the USS Nimitz who died in 1999 after falling down a ventilation shaft. Taken from Ace Combat wiki
