The first time I heard Jack Marshall play was in the mid-1950s in Sikeston, Missouri. I was about 12 years old and he impressed me more than the Blackwood Brothers. I wish I had a DVD of his music. He was a talented man, and we lost a treasure of musical talent.

Wow Margaret! I heard Jackie and the Blackwoods for the first time in about 1949 In my hometown of Sikeston. It was my first exposure of any quartet and I have been hooked on gospel quartets ever since. This is my 60th year of singing in some form, several quartets and now as a soloist. Bob

@@doyado1 You are from Sikeston too? You may have known my brother Gene Cline. He was a singer and graduated from Olivette Nazarene University in Kankakee, IL with a Masters in Music Education. He has performed all over the world in choirs and in solos.

I've read in several articles, that Jack used to offer a piano course called "The Marshall Plan." I'd sure like to find that course, but haven't been able to find out anything about it. I'd be interested if anyone has a copy they'd sell!
