Some great practical ideas here and the stuff about faith in hard times and honouring God is great but I leave though feeling like some of this is a bit legalistic - ie what we do for God rather than what God has done for us moving us to live for him. Striving rather than freedom to obey. We live in a new covenant Ezekiel 11 : 19-20 and 36 : 26-27 « I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. » - God writes it on our hearts to do his will Because really in our own strength we get no where.
