I skip the intro every single time. There was one a while ago where he had xo.done singing a hook and he was in a big house. That was low key 🔥. But that song in the intro is not it.m for me. But in Math's defence, from a technical point of view.. the music ain't his fault, he's way too sentimentally attached to its theme narrative, he probably wouldn't hear what we hear but further still.. I think it's the mix-master engineer that got it all wrong. That mix got way too much compression going on up in the master buss and the sibilance (high, sharp frequencies) are literally on crack bussn through any speaker system. The track would have been FAYAA but the mix and/or master was done all wrong Whoever did it pushed way too hard trying to meet the client's request and hard core artistic demeanor and ended up crushing all the sweet spot sonics in that joint.. left it with a recurring case of ear fatigue He'll need to source the raw mix project and find some one to re-do a subtle professional touch up.. you won't believe the world of difference in that one lil move.
