I've been singing this song to my son damn near every day since its release. This song is always on my playlist. My son is 16 now, and I still play and sing it to him on the way home from school. Such a deep song is sad, but it shows how resilient the human body is. As sad as it was, his brother wasn't real it's quite incredible his mind created him so that he could make it through the dark.

i relate to this video so much, in terms of daydreaming about having support systems and friends that are there for me. i know the daydreams arent real, but it makes me feel better and sometimes i can work through things im feeling if i pretend that im talking to someone.

This song and video have so much meaning for me. I was just starting to seek help and got diagnosed with DID. This song really brought me splice, then seeing the video really clinched this as my favorite T0P song.

Bravo! Absolutely loved this reaction! And, of course, you picked up on the inner struggle aspect before the end. Jump right in and pull my pin is also my favorite line. Loved everything you had to say. Sometimes it's really hard when you don't have that bookshelf, or well to draw from, as I refer to it. You feel quite alone. Sometimes, the coping mechanisms we create (imagine) help us at the time but dont serve us well at other times.The hard part is figuring out when that is. What you said was very encouraging. Yup pretty much “oooooh”. If or when you go to another concert after u have heard all the other songs u will be able to appreciate that whole thing to an extent that ur not prepared for.

Only I wanted to comment that another meaning of the chorus is about cutting or self-injury in general "stay with me my blood, you don't need to run" so in that part many fans including me believe that it can also refer to self-harm and even Tyler in concerts sometimes when singing the song in that part points to his wrists

They were the last band I saw before the pandemic! I love that you reacted that song and what you said was such an optimistic, encouraging take on it :)

If this hurts, I warn you to brace yourself for "Neon Gravestones", which I think is Track 7 on this album. I would say my flashlight is not my daughter herself, but defending her light is (she's almost 2 and a joyous vibrant kid). There have definitely been times that I've struggled in my life, and occasionally, what pulls me up is thinking "Ok, kiddo needs me." If my flashlight is a person, it would be my husband, and I hope I'm the same for him.

They are not alone, TOP believes in God being with us, at all times. They just don't shove beliefs in fans faces. Good reaction!

This is personally one of my favourite twenty one pilots songs and is the only reason why I enjoy Halloween (because of the haloween party)

This song makes me feel like I let everyone down. When it came out, I was in university doing a course that wasn't aligned with what I wanted to do, I was doing it to support my brothers and sisters. When I graduated, I couldn't. I wasn't sure about my career, I was anxious and kind of shunned myself from the world. Seems I lost the sight of why I took the path... 😔

Nailed it! I'll continue my own narrative from 'Jumpsuit" reaction video. Back to the asylum... The screams, the betrayal by the police (defunded Police is weaponized)... Politics are now involved, but life is complex and police officers have to protect their families as well. When they put their trust in me and I tell them without words that there is funny business in the halls of the asylum, they may even arrest someone while im there. I have a criminal justice degree. I did an internship with U.S. Federal Probation in S.A. Texas... I interviewed for Probation in ATX, Dallas TX and I have roots in Houston, TX. At that point I have "showed my face in just enough places" that they trust me and I have the resources, resume, and experience to turn on anyone.... but I won't. I won't turn my back on the forces, the gangsters *heathens*, nor will I turn my back on my family of course. Up against the wall literally means I could blackmail anyone I wanted to, but I won't because I would be taking myself down too because *side note*... I'm in the system STILL from last year, due to a criminal trespass while fighting fires for my friends from 15 years ago. *we are twenty øne piløts* and so are you. *Peace & love*. (yin-yang).
