Been there mate, I had psychosis in the late 80's from overuse of amphetamine...that's how I ended up taking heroin and becoming an addict. Then the crack came to town in the late 90's...I'm glad I survived it all and I am clean now...prayers for Heidi. Thanks Billy 🙏🙏🙏

People underestimate the psychosis due to doing too much Billy. Doing a bit more, then a bit more, then a bit more can be easy to fall into. When you look back, you realise what a episode it was. Had a pal once who only got about 10 hrs sleep, little cat naps in 14 days

This is a very very brave young lady, to be able to tell people that isn't associated with mental heath clinicians, I suffer from PTSD from my time in the balkans conflict in 92, my last posting, ive been through the class A drug scene (opiate addiction) for 7 years , been clean 11 now, been on various drugs for mental health , the thing opiate addiction did for me was kill the pain at the time, it was after I got clean that the addiction showed itself to me, as my mind got clean it got worse because there was nothing to suppress the recurring thoughts 😢💯

I was diagnosed with depression at the age of twelve and began smoking cannabis to self medicate (looking back), and just weeks before my 16th birthday l became very psychotic and believed l was a member of pink Floyd it lasted for weeks and l had to be injected with very high doses of anti psychotic drugs such as stelazine haloperidol and chlorpromazine which eventually brought me back down to sanity. I spent my birthday in a police cell up all night singing DSOTM at the top of my lungs..

Drop the shame folks - not what you've done or what's happened to you - it's where you are today that matters. So many souls lost because we don't normalise are normal reactions to what happens in our lives. Talk, stay well and be kind - especially to yourself 🙏 Nice one Billy 👍

It's a individual war our mental health battles. I believe the medical profession should start treating people as individuals instead of lumping everyone together. That is a cop out by this profession. A one time vocation that has become, disillusioned dejected, incompetent, lazy, cynical, greedy and uncaring. This all has a impact of the people who the swore to help with their code of practice. Most od this is down to a broken system a runaway train. I believe that a re-evaluation of government departments in all EU countries especially health and wellbeing, housing. To start the ball rolling. 👊☘️

This is a common perception and it’s ok. Some people are not aware, some people think they can control it and some people it eases their symptoms of their illness. No one wakes up and says today I want to be an addict. Those who are in throws who I know hate it and hate themselves because of it. ❤

She looks really lovely & hopefully her horrible past is gone & she has found a way to go forward with those who really care. But, those who are swinging both ways as they say can put severe strain on relationships. & even your own life & can cause trouble & heartache & even anger & jealously. So, those who are in that predicament. I strongly suggest make a choice of which side of the coin it could help reduce MAYBE!!! the trouble between you & others involved in your personal life.

Wow 😲 m8 that's a bit rough, but something keeping you here my friend listen I know most ppl have been through shit stuff and it's how we handle it, I will be honest life really has been shit but I have never even thought about ending it yrs ago I never wanted to die but now not that I wanna die but now I don't care either way, it's like every day is a test and we get tested every day stuff may it be good or bad is constantly thrown at us but like they say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger and every day is a learning day and Man don't U learn cos especially in this day and age, usually ppl who you think are your best friends can sometimes turn out to be 8:02 the worst ones and the nicer U seem to be the worse ppl treat you, and if you suffer with mental health ppl will use that against you and use mental torture against you like a wolf in sheeps clothing, so you think what the fuckin point, but that can make you bitter and nobody wants to be bitter, especially if you are a positive person and you take every day as it comes, everyday a winner especially if you have been an addict, ppl get jealous of positivity cos they lead such sad lives they try to bring you down. But it like why should I change I am happy the way I am and I know it's not a competition but ppl that have never really had bad things happen are usually the wo wowys me type and U think really, or if you nice to someone and there like what they after, must want something, hidden agenda's and all that, when no I really am just a nice person and I just want to put a smile on somebody's face cos believe me I know what shit hands some ppl are dealt, but that's because U can't trust many ppl anymore especially strangers cos 99 percent of the time it's true.💙.

My wife (married 15 years) thought I was cheating, so she threw something at my head, then she got a knife and threatened me. I called the useless Merseyside police (as I was scared for the kids and for my life), but when they arrived, my psycho wife said that I had verbally threatened her. The mupit police actually arrested and charged me. Wife then called them a few hours later to admit she had lied, but police ignored her then charged anyway and refused bail. Obviously, the courts have common sense so later threw it out, but the moral of the story is that Merseyside Police will allow women to commit crimes (including assault and perjury/pervert course of justice), then the mupets will arrest innocent people (despite both my kids telling the police when they arrived that is was their mum threatening people). I feel sorry for the citizens of Merseyside, the place is like that due to a useless police force that cares nothing for justice. I had to move my family to another country due to the mental trauma I suffered over the police's actions. Long story, but I recommend anyone that became a victim of Merseyside police brutality or misconduct, to start a civil court procedure against them.
