Dude! That episode on qaaludes in SA was awesome AF! I wasn’t expecting much, but was completely blown away. I also thought Hamilton was courageous for going there and helping out with the music video. It was also very educational on multiple levels. Netflix obviously does not give AF about the Truth. Respect to Hamilton!

That Netflix declined doing a doc in Africa is sort of meaningless without context. Morris seems to think it was anti-black, but it might be avoiding the "white anthropologist" trope as well, which is actually "woke".

@@tcorourke2007 I think both sides are likely bs and it probably all comes down to money. Africa isn’t “hip” anymore, the kony stuff is almost a decade old. I’m sure they have dozens of algorithms that indicate what’s hot and what’s not. When was the last time you saw a “save the children” or “stop aids in Africa” commercial? If it would have made them hundreds of millions of dollars they would have been on it like flies on shit.

This interview was GOLD. Seeing Hamilton get excited in such a way is rare. It kinda makes me realize that the psychedelic AND drug community have been so oppressed that the mere basics are still exciting and enlightening. When the fact that something exists is interesting it shows .... Well, it's kinda like when a kid gets excited at something as simple as the family pet "doing something." That innocent " never seen before " look/laughter. When something as ubiquitous as a plant is unknown to people because we have been taught right vs wrong >> It makes me think of what might be out there which is not so common, not so easy to see ... our busyness keeps us well away from the own world we live in.

This is excellent. Great interviewer and an extremely articulate guest. Nice work. I've been a fan of Hamilton's work for a while but this interview in particular really shows how effective he is at educating people on these subjects. I'm really impressed by this interviewer as well, you did a great job making meaningful conversation with a clearly very experienced and knowledgeable person and you've presented things in a digestible way. Nice job. This is material I would show to open minded friends who wanted to learn more generally speaking.

Ketamine was unbelievably helpful for my depression. I didn't do it at a clinic though. I was just incredibly depressed in my life last spring after a serious of terrible events, and it was like magic. I did it and was amazed by the experience. Then the following day I woke up, put new socks on and felt so happy to have new socks, then I looked outside and it was a sunny day and I was so appreciative and excited about it. It was like I was presented with normal everyday things that were always there but suddenly had the option to appreciate and feel good about them. I felt like I was also able to start cultivating my own happiness with lifestyle changes, that I was totally unmotivated to do prior to the ket experience.

lol. right... I've been watching since the youtube days, never read the print column but I think it'd be pretty interesting to read way-early Hamilton M. just to see the full evolution of his style and the general quality of his work. I remember at first I was a little bit unsure but that's because the first thing I watch of his was the episode on kambo, or Sapo -- or a frog's slime if you'd like -- but now that I've had a lot of time to think about it and seeing his other work I think my first impression was off (I was rather young young at the time maybe 20 myself so it stands that I may have just been being ugly) . Really now that I've had time to think about it I think he may have just been sleepy and tired and worn out from traveling into the Amazon and not being used to that kind of thing. Really if you think about it charging into the Amazon without really having much preparation in terms of hiking and being extraordinarily physically fit you know it's gonna be tough.

Hamilton is one of so far 3 Patreons I've given money too. Just finished the last episode of season 3, Ultra Large Scale Docking aka Ultra LSD That was a masterful episode, all of them were great works of art. Glad to see him have Amanda Feilding on. I heard about her through Hamilton years back in regards to the sphere of people who sortve came around Dr. Shulgin. At that time Hamilton seemed more skeptical of her and even some what dismissive. I'm glad it went full circle and he portrayed her journey accurately via her input. Such an interesting woman.

We have greatly enjoyed the learning opportunities Hamilton has brought forward and this interview very much helps to consolidate and present this important re-education effort. (On a different note- Although not a doctor of any sense, it can be related what my significant other has learned recently through genetic testing- that of a certain Histamine intolerance. It turned out to be the cause of a long-annoying psoriasis incorrectly diagnosed.) Thank You Both for your efforts!

A big problem of mine happens to be the walls that the "war on drugs" has put between me, my research and the way I choose to alter my consciousness. It is difficult to get real LSD and the therapeutic benefits of LSD helps me tremendously. Helps with social anxiety and negative rumination, which really holds me back in my daily life. In therapy I am autonomously uncomfortable to the point where my sessions are not as productive as I'd like them to be. To the converse, while I take LSD I can open up to my therapist and process my feelings and thoughts in a profound way that I'd struggle to do otherwise.

It's so funny how he asked what xenon felt like. Trying to describe inhalants is so difficult but after many many sessions of nitrous I can say the feeling is "an electrical catastrophe while holding cotton balls"😂 my best way to describe the feeling.

I stand by Hamilton Morris when he speaks of 25C-NBOMe. Positive experience. However, the vasoconstriction is insane. If used responsibly (I say this lightly, as some people simply do not respond well to this psychedelic) it can be quite enjoyable. I have not tried them, but I hear the NBOH series is significantly easier to handle

My 30 th time doing nn Dmt. Scared me to death. Theirs no end to that rabbit. Hole. Don’t use a big bong. I used a big exspensive bong. It came on at 4x the speed of usuall. I had ever negative psychological effect. So at leaste I knew for the most part what’s going on. But I thought I went crazy. I thought for learning these truth. Or seeing the big secret I would be a vegatable. The butt of every joke. People would say behind my back. “ we told him not to mess around with that stuff” and I would be brain dead the rest of my life. That was the trade off for learning the ultimate secret. I had mind loops. It wasn’t until I felt the loops getting smaller and smaller I knew I was gonna be okay. 430 in morning everyone asleep. I am running around the house saying. I think I am getting my marbles back I think I am getting my marbles back. I was so thankful. Regardless of the negative. Is extremely positive. Been scared ever since. Everyone should do it once. We wouldn’t live in the world we live in today

Still waiting for a show on the 2C family, especially 2C-T-7. Is it too rare of a drug to be featured on Hamilton’s Pharmacopoeia, despite the fact it is one of Alexander Shulgin’s “Magical Half Dozen” chemicals - those which he considered “most important”? There is so little information surrounding 2C-T-7 on the web, yet it remains something very special, I believe.

Thank you hamilton. I use cannabis daily as I have ptsd from witnessing both suicides and deaths of pets attacked by wild dogs (just earlier this week, I am trying to digest still), and cannabis allows me to digest the major emotional problems I consistently face. I am dependent, and I am not sad about this. With cannabis I can actually do things I wanna do, and not stuck in my head.

The way Hamilton described the effect of Ketamine is so spectacularly bang on. I've never heard anyone portray it in this light but hes so spot on its frightening. My first experience with it I described it as like having "schizophrenia" yet never heard anyone else mention this effect.
