This is not a character of J.R.R. Tolkien's and can not segue with either the young Galadriel of the Silmarillion or the Elf Queen of the Third Age. The writer's of 'Woke' Rings of Power are showing us the Second Age from the perspective of the evil characters and casting Tolkien's major characters as defectives, weaklings who are accomplishing the designs of the evil strategists. Galadriel herself does not really come into the stories of the Second Age. Another character has either been created (like Tauriel of The Hobbit movies) or cast as a character that has shape shifted into the Noldorin Elf of Galadriel's genealogy. When Gil-galad tells her: "You shouldn't even be standing here" before he puts her on a ship to Valinor , he's right. On Tolkien's timeline, the real Galadriel is already East of the Misty Mountains. She refused the summons of the Valar to return because she wished to help heal Middle Earth of the terrible wounds in which her own kindred were so prominent in inflicting. Whereas in the Amazon version of the Second Age, this character which has taken her form is consumed by vengeance. I think consumed is the operative word here.

Tolkien wrote of women heroin. No exaggeration needed. They were beautiful, strong, and most epic. Galadriel was one of his best femme characters. No unbelievable enhancements needed. Galadriel was the eldest of all middle earth, most powerful, and most revered. No reason to make a super-girl character out of her, as she already was. No need to make her an overly powerful, and arrogant, protagonist who shames all men through hyperbole god-like super powers. Making all the high elves look like idiot infants against her super strength. Amazon is just taking names and places of the great Tolkien's works to demonstrate, and grab fame to make their own pro-liberal-feminine anti- male world agenda. Why spoil the the master works of a beloved legend. Why not re-write Shakespeare, and make Hamlet a woman? Or better yet. Why not just write your own fucking stories, rather than copying what men have written, just gender roll reversing. If you don't feel represented in a classic piece of literature, than write you own! WRITE YOUR OWN!!!
