My ex is an award-winning vet and he said that this veterinarian is absolutely professional. He said most vets would not know how to handle a cat with this level of aggression. He said they did an amazing job and I agree.

Doesn't the Tech. Know how to hold the cat. I guess my sweets wasn't so difficult.. when I was in the room they were always able to do what needed to be done. exam shots etc. Now it's pure hell. Between the lock down..(Covid).. and the extreamly long waits for appointments (not to mention money). It's impossible. I think some vets have 12 year olds answering the phone. They don't understand or care that when a cat needs to be seen. And treated. It's worse than this .. and more complicated.

Если бы хозяин держал свое животное, оно бы вело себя совершенно иначе. Our cat used to have no problems whatsoever when he went to the vet. Unfortunately, at one visit, he was given a medication or vaccination that made a "popping" noise when it was administered. At the next appointment, he was so angry that he pushed open the *latched* door of his cat carrier, (The one in this visit is not latched when the cat pushed it). Nigel was so uncontrollable that the *only* way the vet could examine him was to administer a general anesthetic through the holes in the cat carrier. *He WAS DUE* to get general anesthesia that visit anyway, as his teeth were being cleaned. At his following appointment, I warned them that he was like a wolverine, and that even using the emergency "holding by the nape of the neck" trick DID. NOT. WORK. *EVER*. (I swear, Nigel is like an owl. I've never seen a cat who can swivel his head around so much.) Now, my husband has to give Nigel a (prescribed) relaxant the night before, and again 45 minutes before his appointment. Plus, the vet now has a feline pheromone diffuser which seems to help also. The company that manufactured that medication(?) must've received so many complaints about this reaction in cats that they *Finally* made an adjustment so there is no longer a "popping"noise when it is administered. It's too late for that to help Nigel, unfortunately. :-(

But the doctor has no other choice. They try to do everything as quickly as possible, for the health of this animal. Lived in Canada, Toronto. I had two cats. I saw different animals in character at the veterinarian's appointment. Cats recover quickly when they return home.🐾😻🐾❤️

I guess he was there once before and had a touch procedure, was it this one in this video, not sure right now, but i just thought, perhaps he doesn't get treated all too well in his home or previous home, that he has his extreme fear of doc and blankets from somewhere else.....

@@Thecatnamedkiwi No, far from it! One of ours purred so much and loudly every time at the vet's, they had trouble listening to his heart through a stethoscope. He just looved people, vets included. My current cat is completely silent and goes along with everything when we're there... whether it's having blood drawn or getting an ultrasound on her tummy (she likes to lay and watch her own ultrasound images). 😄❤

Знаю семью,где кошка,белая,пушистая няшка,видит чужих и всё,это зверь.несумели вовремя приручить к чужим.к кому в гости не прихожу,коты идут ко мне ластится,многие хозяева удивляются,говорят,мой кот ни к кому не идёт,а к тебе полез почему?я не знаю.Но та белая няшка только у своей хозяйки сидит.вполне адекватная.чужих просто выгоняет,даже закрытая дверь ей не преграда.будет бится в нее,пока чужак не уйдет.и ведь никто не доводил,любят,холят,лелеют.Хрен его знает,что с ней🤷🤦😊🤗

Cats retain a lot of wild instincts compared to dogs because dogs were domesticated about 20K to 40K years ago compared to 10K years ago with cats. Dump a dog in the woods and that clueless simp will die sooner than later of humans are there to help. Do the same with a cat and it will adapt and skillfully hunt for food in most cases. Dogs are the yes-men of the animal kingdom while cats are lethal survivors.

@@Tali.01. А вы? Кстати по хорошему дать кошке габапентин за 2 часа до приема и ошейник успокоительный. Работает даже на самом агрессивном коте. Правда кот должен быть домашним т.к. отходняк около суток.

@Marhild Ordo turkish version of cotton is pamuk. Pamuk is fitting 100% to any cat who have white color in his skin but i know calling cotton to cat its sounds a bit weird 😂

I did not know that Mr. Pamuk is so noisy. The volume on my phone was medium high. All of a sudden, my cat that slept in the other room, about 10 meters away, came quickly to see who was screaming !!! This Pamuk is a Dragon Cat. All the respect and appreciation to the vet and the staff. Such patience, smiles, efficiency and dexterity. Just imagine such a little sweet devil to keep three people busy around him !

🤣🎶🎵...if you could understand you'd crack up! The cat's comments are *censured* "spoken" or hinted profanities a typical hotheaded Turk would yell out loud under similar stress, like "will (f***) your entire family", or "will tear your lungs out of your chest"! etc. & surgically implanted on the screen that they hit the mark perfectly... I had several maternal uncles & witnessed them in various emotional stages among their friends (they were tasked to babysit us girls on occasion)...🤣🎶🎵 while in the presence of elders everyone is expected to control their (verbal) outburst & language, among friends, in comparison, there's a complete anarchy. But after all, these remain just words, literally*signaling* the level of anger, frustration or whatever else emotion of the person who uses the profanity or verbal violence... aahh....& unlike in the US, nobody would ever think to call the police if they hear "I'll kill you"! One just would stay away, in a safe distance as to avoid getting unintentionally bruised/injured as well as to interject in case the person get silly ideas to hurt themselves. We learn early on that such a person needs some personal space & x to cool off, because s/he's way too upset to think straight at this very moment. We are more afraid of the sleeping x- bombs💣, that keep on ticking in silence until they suddenly blow than someone who's venting (justified or not doesn't really matter in that very acute state). ...& clearly here, Pamuk/Cotton who had no say in visiting a vet, getting touched & fumbled by total strangers against his will, has all the rights to be outraged & someone translated his "aggressiveness" into "tribal Turkish" that even simple minds who don't speak "cat" can understand & empathtize w/. my apologies for the rant 😉

Holy crap, it gave me the chills just to hear this beast's angry roars.

I can't believe this vet's calm composure. I almost jumped back at the cat's loud aggression, and I was watching the whole thing from behind the safety of a screen LOL. I would have hated to have been one of the handlers. Well done to that amazing vet. 👏👏

As a child I had a huge black & white cat that the vet was frankly scared of. He'd only treat her if I went in with her and held her over my shoulder (she was huge, that was the only way to transport her). She was feared by all dogs, foxes, cats humans in our village. She was a doll with me. I still think of her.

@@nori9127 it's no owner this guy works for the government or volunteers agencies in turkey where they help treat and care for their stray animals not like us here in the west euthanasia is prohibited in turkey only in very special cases this cat is a real original wild stray cat

agreed, truly appreciate them... but I love them even more when the translation freaks out....in one vid he was commenting quietly on a calm cat, and the translator turned it into ''He shows no emotion. My hair is lonely.''💜💜💜🤣

Это не характер, это ненормально, он какой-то дикий вообще, дома наверное так же себя ведёт. У меня была подобная кошка, чуть прикрикнешь, сразу в аргессию. Хотя брали котёнком и на улице не жила. Сбежала в итоге в окно (1 этаж) на "волю"

@@wlasov у нас кошечка такая, своенравная, если начинает ---то я ей открываю дверь, даю под зад или по спиняке не сильно, а так чтобы она не забывалась кто в доме хозяин, и кто ей дал крышу, питание, любовь... И выпроваживаю со словами-- иди охладись, подумай. Она вылетает как пуля со скандалом на своем языке. Потом она подросла, началась у нее Гулька, просится я не пускаю : говорю коты тебя до хорошего не доведут, но она такая ласковая выпросилась, отпустила ее, наказала будь осторожна абы с кем не гуляй. Ушла не было трое суток, на четвертые заявилась вся грязная, сосульки висят, вся засмоктанная смотрит виновато. Я ей говорю явилась поблуда, фу-фу какая ты пришла, видно коты хорошо твой нрав обломали, а про себя подумала или ты их потрепала хорошо. Она смотрит на меня не заходит, я ей ну что ж заходи , мы за тебя переживали и ждали. Только после этих слов она зашла, но очень застенчиво и стыдливо. Я ей-- пошли купаться, она молча не огрызаясь, не ворча, искупалась, потом посидела, и пошла жизнь своим чередом, но стала помягче. Во дворе ни одного кота, кто придет тот летит с кувырками прочь. Родила пять котят и все копия она, кроме одного. Чуть позже приходил кот на которого похож котенок -- он был весь черненький и молоденький , папа его. Кошка не ругалась., а что ругаться ведь чувства у них были. И ещё один котенок шотландец, росленький копия мама. , очень ласковый. И кошечка поменялась, стала терпимее, сдержаннее , мы друг друга уважаем и любим. Она очень свободолюбивая.

Елена, согласна с Вами. На Кипре та же история. Кошки были завезены на остров, чтобы бороться со змеями, очень хищные и ловкие. Недавно наблюдала, как кот мышь в зарослях нашел, ящериц ловят, тараканов. Собака носом сначала суется, а кошка, типо, лапкой. Но, если это змея, и начинает сопротивляться, то из милой лапки получается то, что на видео. Вон, как работает лапами, молниеносно! Она делает дырки в теле змеи и уходит, а потом муравьи съедают змею изнутри. Может Вы и знали, но я не могла понять механизма. В Средиземноморье кошки такие😾!

Он же сказал в начале, что кошке не делали прививку от бешенства 2 года, не зря она так себя ведёт)) слишком злая))) по любому перчатку прокусила, просто он не дал знать)))

@Ляйсан Весенняя неправда, не везде они одинаковые. В России коты и кошки добрее, из за естественного отбора. Все дело в климате. Там кошки поколениями выживают без человека, в России же коты выживали, если их брали жить в избы, это позволяло выжить им зимой и дать потомство. Соседство с человеком+старались брать ласковых животных.

Какой злюка!!! Доктору отваги не занимать. С таким зверем справился! Браво!!!

Vallahi sokak kedisi bakıyorum, bunun yanında bir kez bana kedi saldırdı zor kurtardım kendimi fakat bu kediden daha çok korktum bana saldıranı bile arattı bana.Kalbimi tutarak izledim.Müthiş bir ekipsiniz 41 kere maşallah.
