I saw him in Britain & on the way to the theatre my daughter & I were talking & I was thinking about my horse who'd died a couple of years earlier, so we discussed whether he got messages from animals as well We got our seats, the lights went down & John Edward came out to thunderous applause, and as thay died down he walked forward, & suddenly looked up to his right & stepped back, then said " a horse just walked out on stage and was coming over to me, that's the first time that's ever happened" The rest of the show was a bit of a blurr.... That man is amazing.!

No, he isn't, he preying on the sadness and despair of innocent people for profit and gain, he's a despicable man who should be ashamed of himself - In this video for example he has an audience of people who have likely been vetted before hand, all anyone needs is your name and a location and thanks to social media and online information they can do a ton of background research on everyone in the audience. Even disregarding that he's just using common cold-reading and manipulation tactics to pry information out of people: He begins by asking if anyone had "a brain tumour, brain aneurism or a cerebral haemorrhage?" - this is important because, whilst brain tumours are rare, brain aneurisms and cerebral haemorrhaging, whilst they "sound" like serious and rare illnesses, are not nearly as rare as the first illness he gave, but it gives the false impression that they are since he has so casually lumped them in, they don't even cause similar symptoms most of the time, but the average person isn't going to know that and are just going to make the simple association of them being illnesses tied to the brain. He then asks "where is the J in the family", "J" is one of the most common letters for names to start with in English (and he just says "where is the J", it doesn't need to be the first letter of a first name, it could be the first letter of a middle name, or surname, or any letter in any name), if you think through your family you are almost certainly going to think of someone with the letter "J" at the start of their name, either a james, a joseph or a john, these are some of the single most common names in America. After he asked this the woman is the one who said "Jacob, my grandson", in this instance she has given him several pieces of information that he didn't have before that he can then use to continue on with his cold reading, the name "jacob", and that she has a grandson who was old enough to have a relationship with his grandfather, meaning he is at a certain minimum age threshold which puts her at quite an elderly age, possibly older than she looks. He then asked "is there someone about ready to get a new car? Or ready to do something new with their vehicle?" - Almost every family has a car, and given that she has a grandson she must have a reasonable size family, so it is likely that someone in the family is doing *something* with a car, which could be anything from "get the car fixed" to "get some minor repairs" to "buy a new car", there are tons of possibilities that question leaves. He then eventually asks "are you diabetic, or are you taking..." - This is similar to the first question but *appears* to be less open ended, is much more direct and seemingly personal; however this is not the case as it is extraordinarily likely she is just due to her age; according to the CDC, the rates of diagnosed diabetes in the U.S for those aged 65 and older was 25% in 2015, this is huge in a country the size of the U.S, and that's just diagnosed diabetes, and not prediabetes or undiagnosed diabetes, he is just using the fact that he knows she is old, likely older than she looks, to his advantage; it is also worth noting he was going to say something after asking her whether she was diabetic but she cut him off, she is the one feeding him all the information he needs to swindle people. This is just a small sample of how you can systematically break down everything this scumbag is doing over the course of the interview to prey on people and dismantle it completely.

Some people definitely have the gift. I was a skeptic myself but about 20 years ago a friend and me went to someone´s apartment to buy a stereo. There was a girl kind of studying us at the kitchen table. The first thing she said to me was ´´give me your keys.¨´ Her boyfriend told us she was a psychic so I complied. She then told me things about myself that she couldn´t possibly know. The most striking is when she blurted out ´´What is with you driving a red car all the way to Vancouver and listening to nothing but the Eagles.¨´ About 15 years prior to this meeting I did just that. I drove my red jeep across country to the city of vancouver and my radio was broken. I had one cassette tape and it was The Eagles. That story wasn´t even significant to tell anyone about. Was a firm believer from that time forward.

"I was on the John Edward show. He even had a multiple guess "hit" on me that was featured on the show. However, it was edited so that my answer to another question was edited in after one of his questions. In other words, his question and my answer were deliberately mismatched. Only a fraction of what went on in the studio was actually seen in the final 30 minute show. He was wrong about a lot and was very aggressive when somebody failed to acknowledge something he said. Also, his "production assistants" were always around while we waited to get into the studio. They told us to keep very quiet, and they overheard a lot. I think that the whole place is bugged somehow. Also, once in the studio we had to wait around for almost two hours before the show began. Throughout that time everybody was talking about what dead relative of theirs might pop up. Remember that all this occurred under microphones and with cameras already set up. My guess is that he was backstage listening and looking at us all and noting certain readings. When he finally appeared, he looked at the audience as if he were trying to spot people he recognized. He also had ringers in the audience. I can tell because about fifteen people arrived in a chartered van, and once inside they did not sit together."

A legit medium doesn't get an initial in a message. I grt an actual name and the person will try and show how they died.i Don't ask for any information. When talking to someone their loved one's passed will come through and bring up things only that person would know

In my opinion he is using general intuition that just about everyone has and applies chance guesswork. He throws out general data question and then applies a bunch of off the head statements and shaves it while using weedout questions, then he goes in and applies a conclusion as a " specific " data point. It's a honed in tactic. I never believed this guy was authentically gifted. I think he knows how to make it seems that way.

I remember sitting in the staff room one day at work and decided to try doing this. I did a "reading" on a co-worker (that was complete BS) and the worker was shocked how accurate it was. The trick it so be super broad in your questions (and ask a lot of them) and then throw out a few **shockers** for instance I told her that her loved one wanted her to remember the "chair" which was an idea I pulled out if thin air... she totally read into it because and told me there was a special chair she and her loved one had a special connection about. He got two names! Automatically. Just saying. . .

I went to a psychic in 1980 who lived 20 miles away. I did not give him my real name in case he wanted to research info about me. Almost all of the 'reading' was nothing much but he did tell me something that only I and a friend who died knew.

You can ask 10 different people what it means and you'll get 10 different answers. There's no real tangible evidence that shows Christianity is true. There's also nothing to show any god exists, let alone the one you believe in.

My Aunt Cathy was picked to have a reading from him, I don't even know how many people where there. But my cousin drowned on his road I think racing a friend. And his father passed away when he was only a baby 👶😢💔😔 My Aunt has since moved out of her house and sold it. Derek (only child passed away & his father would be the 1st one to pass ) would turn his TV on in his room. Radio on and other stuff was happening like his father did when he passed away 😢😔 Recently in the last 5 years or so my moms sisters have passed away, one being my God mother and favorite, Aunt Karen. I'd love to communicate with her and have tried. I believe she showed me her energy orb a while back. I have since been diagnosed with Lung Cancer and from that Brain cancer but God is great and helps me heal 🙏 My 4 kids have been having a hard time dealing with it. I was sceptical about psychics until a couple of years ago a man approached me in a pub full of people on new years eve and what he told me blew me away. My mother came through as well as my granddad and an uncle, he predicted I would have a mishap with a chain saw in the new year and also that I was suffering with depression and tinnitus. He also told me how my uncle passed over ( sitting up in a chair waiting for his tea, one eye open one eye shut and aneurism) Everything he said was spot on. When I saw him next a couple of months later I told him and he just said , ididn,t tell ou it was the spirits. Anyway I,m a firm believer that there is more to life and death than meets the eye. I know one day I,ll see my family again.

You're a victim. There are subtle clues you gave to this person, and they prayed upon you, using clues you didn't know you were giving. It hurts to admit loved ones are gone. So your mind will fill in the blanks to hold onto a thought of connection beyond the scary threshold of life. It doesn't make you stupid or gullible or anything; it just makes you human, and makes the people who made you think this a douche. Or douches.

Power of suggestions

I have met with mediums numerous times and they always tell me this - "That's not the way it works". So they always have parameters and conditions around how they can perform. If spirits exist, there are billions of them and there's only one way to know if a medium is talking to your person. But they don't want to do it your way. I have a psychic challenge that I've presented to dozens and they either fail or refuse.

I guarantee the audience members gave their names and info which I’m sure John researched. Or maybe they filled out a card with a brief explanation on why they were there and who they wished to communicate with. I hear that actually happens sometimes.

I went to San Diego to see him for my birthday. I was so late that I took a cab and they were closing the door as I came in. I sat in the very back. I had told Dad to show him the Andrew Sisters and I would know it was him. He read the woman next to me and then asked about the Andrew Sisters. I told him that was my Dad and had dated 2 of them when he was young. He even knew it was the older and younger. Then he told me that my mother had asked about her health. I didn't know until I left and gave her the message that she had asked the night before. He also knew about my brother's death.

My Physiotherapist friend worked at Eagleridge hospital in Port Moody BC. Her patient was a man that lost their only son 13 year old- Robbie who suddenly collapsed on the Ice & died while playing hockey. When John Edward came to Q.E.theatre in Van BC, he told his wife, I don't believe in psychics, and don't feeling like wasting 180 bucks on tickets. She said, "honey we've got nothing to lose, it may help us to heal" After the show, Robbie's dad asked for a private meeting with John, which was given, the first thing he said to the Dad, your son wants you to know, that your feeling his presence at the ice rink, Everytime you visit, it's real. When Robbies dad heard that he wept uncontrollably, & said he had never told anyone of this.

What a truly lovely lady this presenter is, she is so kind.

The level of accuracy this guy has as a Medium, is the only kind ppl should pay to see. Mediums this good are out there. You just need to find them, or ask spirit to lead you to them.

I was a skeptic at first but when I went to see a medium, it changed my life. You should try it before you judge.

@John Edwards. I am an intuitional empath and know those feelings well. I can barely walk into a Walmart without being accosted by those feelings. Don't know how you do it because I've yet to learn how to "turn it off"

So I have to defend John. At the very least he can read people’s minds. He chose me for reading out of about 3000 people years ago in Pittsburgh. I didn’t give him anything and he did not overhear any conversations because we didn’t discuss where we were going even in the car ride there as it was a surprise for my mother. When we arrived at the venue we were late and running to get into the auditorium before they closed the doors. He had already started when we walked in and so we did not speak about anything but was listening to his readings with everyone else. He was wrapping up the show and then suddenly called on me and the information that he brought through was so on the head I had my knees pressed together because they were shaking so badly. I had no preconceived notion‘s about even getting a reading but was very pleased that my friend came through. He described her personality to a T and went on to discuss her car accident which only a few people knew details of. He described the accident and other things that only the two of us knew. Honestly I had forgotten a couple of things but his reading reminded me. Again there was no way he or anyone that worked for him could’ve known any of the information that came through. I did not give him details but only Gave him yes or no responses. It was one of the best experiences of my life. I know a lot of people don’t believe in him but there is no way my reading was fraudulent.

He asked the audience did those names ring a bell with anyone and NO ONE RAISED THEIR HAND, which I had never seen happen in any of his reading session I had viewed. Incidentally, my name is Erick, may mother's name was Evelyn, and Baron was the first pet my family had which I named in September 1959 when my Uncle gave him to my family. Erick Tippett- I reckon it was probably just one off coincidence. I'm a skeptic and the evidence leads me to believe that mediumship is bullshit. However, If there were repeat patterns of specific names coming together like this time and time again, then it would be interesting. Also, were there other names being thrown around during the show between these significant three names? It's possible that these were only three of many, but you remembered these three because of their significance.

How have you ruled out explanations such as coincidence and selective memory on Mr Tippett’s part? I haven’t seen any psychic or mediumship demonstration that requires any sort of supernatural explanation. I have seen nothing that can’t be explained by coincidence, human psychology, the Barnum effect (Goggle it if you don’t know what that is) and other cold reading techniques.

The only way to get outside info is to ask for and invite it. Feelings happen to all of us. Elaborating or wanting to find out more is inviting something you should not invite. I once went to a Spiritual church in a new city, new country. No one knew me and I went alone. The Minister came to me afterwards and told me he had a young man that was bugging him to speak to me...and could I come back the next week as he was in a hurry to drive 3 hrs to his home. I said I would. About 2 minutes later he came back, said he would be bugged his whole trip home if he didn't take just 5 minutes with me. His first thing he said was he was being shown a picture of a mangled motorbike by a young teenage boy....I nearly collapsed, I burst into tears. My sweet brother was killed on a bike accident head-on. This meeting sent me on a pathway, a very spiritual one. Once those connections are made with the other side, it's unbelievable ! I don't talk about this type of thing much anymore, it's too frustrating when I sense the eyerolls.

Sylvias god that was a shame about all them poor people in Manchester. Utterly despicable atrocity. Do you really want to know whats in the future? The guy who told me all this stuff wasn,t going to go out that night but felt a compulsion that he had to see somebody (me). He told me my first job in new year would be cutting a tree down with a chainsaw and it would malfunction. Me being super cautious went out and bought a brand new chainsaw. I put all the protective gear on and climbed the ladder, started cutting and after 15 minutes a nut holding the bar in place shot off, the chain came off basically fell apart. Now it goes without saying that everything was checked thoroughly before use. I took it back to seller and he says its impossible for it to happen on new saw. Uncle George foretold me through him to be careful with saw. HE WAS BANG ON.

Sometimes you 'think' you know something, but don't want to say anything, nobody would believe you anyway, but it happens. Then there are times, you may just blurt it out without thinking, and it comes true. Not a nice feeling, but it does happen. Every time my sister wrecked the car, before she left, I would ask her not to go out. (Just encase you are wondering, the only times I ask her not to go out, were the very times she was involved in an accident and she was driving.) When my mother and uncle were helping my daddy to the car to take him to the hospital ... my sister and I stood looking out the back door. I blurted out "That will be the last time he is here alive." It was ... he passed away, 3 days later. We did not even know he was sick.

I went to see him at an event and it was pretty awful. There were way more misses than hits, it was almost uncomfortable. There is no one who wants to believe this more than me but cold reading is a turn off.

That's interesting you say this. I'm watching this b/c I went to see him at an event last night and he didn't miss a thing. He was spot on about literally everything. I went to see Theresa Caputo last year and she wasn't nearly as accurate as John. It was pretty shocking to see him work. It was just like this video in person.
