This is what happens when you have one individual with serious mental health issues marrying someone who has even MORE serious mental health issues living their lives on the world's stage. Part of me is disgusted by their behavior and part of me feels sorry for them because their mental illness issues prevent them from seeing that they are a global laughingstock. I have family like this and it's heartbreaking to watch them self-destruct and/or go scorched earth on every perceived slight. Scobie reverts to 'victim mode' when the questioning becomes uncomfortable, and also tends to deflect from answering the questions directly. He is quite comfortable throwing the interpreters 'under the bus' and avoids any responsibility for the 'errors'.

Yes, I agree, and well done you for having such a positive and fun attitude towards the differences in your family. If any remarks were made, I am of the opinion that they were made in the positive sense "I wonder who the child will look like", a conversation held in most families. However, MM managed to word her telling of the story to put such a negative spin on it, and OW did not help by not following up and asking for clarification of what was actually said. Harry has been fool enough to go along with it, and not clarify what he actually heard.

I live in a monarchy too. As long as the RF does their duty, I'm OK with the monarchy. We had a very strict and a bit aloof queen for decennia; she was much more respected than the jovial king we have now. You need a RF for calamaties and for people that don't get enough attention from politicians. We have enough (crazy) politicians and Britain has his share too. I understand that KC has a very effective program for young people. A constant factor as the RF can sooth when the waves are high. But if you want to get rid of the monarchy that's OK. But don't do it by attacking individual members with childish, ad hoc remarks as Scobie does, which are partly lies, because he didn't his research well enough. It's a tabloid book. The Monarch is there to advise and support. People already have to vote for Parish/Town/District/County/Parliamentary representatives.

if people don't like living under a monarchy, there's a big world out there !! We need the stability of monarchy more than ever, just look what's happened to Iran to see that. I think people need to wake up. Monarchy isn't perfect, (what is?), but I don't want to live under a dictatorship thanks and that's definately what we'll get.

Scobie had every intention of publicly naming Charles and Catherine as racists even when the publishing house legal team said, absolutely not. Unfortunately the onus is not on Scobie as it is the responsibility of the publishing house to send drafts to translators and distributors. My question is why send a draft. I worked as a translator many years ago and certainly never received a "draft" version as it is costly and time consuming. However, in this scenario "accidents" are often staged for publicity. Yet there cannot be room for accidents as the translated manuscript undergoes proofreading and copy-editing. Whoever shared this information with Scobie obviously had a traumatic experience over lip gloss.

I'm sure TOW assured Scobie there would be no ramifications for him as the RF doesn't fight back 😊. I hope every penny he earns from this book is used for his legal fees 😏.

I don't think that repeating what you are told to say and re printing facts that other people already published counts as "investigation".

I think we all should boycott all things Meghan on the 8th , because , that's when the new reprint of the dutch version of Endgame comes out in. We should just cover Catherine and what she is doing that day . Please

He sold the English language rights to Harper Collins. He deliberately retained the foreign language rights which he sold entirely separately via his American agent to the Dutch publisher. He supplied that publisher a different manuscript, via the agent, to avoid British libel laws. Two different manuscripts supplied by he scrote. So no error occurred between the UK publisher and Xander. He has nowhere to go here.

The words Catherine and Charles can't be a translation error. It's the same name in Dutch, French Italian etc. It's a name! What does Charles get changed into? Chuck?

Finally a psychiatrist evaluation on this matter of interest!!!! I myself am a psychologist and commend you for looking at this from a mental health perspective. Bravo Dr. Raj de Persaud!!! Main stream media needs to interview such licensed professional individuals so as to shed light and educate the public on dysfunctional cognition as well as the etiology of such personality intricacies. Instead of talking heads discussing what literally is going on, perhaps it would be of benefit to understand the workings of the human brain to benefit society! Next should be the behaviour of the Sussexes!

They initially caused us great distress and that by no means doesn't mean we should let them continue!! If we hold in the anger it is really hurting us and so they are actually imposing more harm to us so we must "forgive" and let go. This is hard because we want to see justice. It is difficult to know we may never see this justice in our lifetime! This is when you must love yourself enough to think only of you and let go. I know this has happened to me! If it is of course an egregious offense, we must take legal action in order to protect ourself and others. When someone has proven themselves to have hurt me unjustly, I have the option to forgive or cut them out of my life and let it go. We must love ourselves enough to protect ourselves! I surmise the royal family is struggling right now with the letting it go part. I so feel for them! I believe they are trying to carry on and cut off from the sussexes. All love to you always ❤

Think Scobie has done more harm than good for his beloved markles, and he's certainly damaged his credibility. The markles are seriously stupid not to have realised that their lies rebound on themselves.

The Royals aren't celebrities, maybe Scomid wants them to be. A few years ago I was surprised to hear that Markle was 'on maternity leave'. I hadn't linked the workplace thing of time off due to pregnancy with being a Royal. So, that says to me that the Royals have a clear delineation between home and work. When any of them are officially out and about, greeting, smiling, exchanging niceties, wearing their lovely workclothes, then they're working, putting on their work persona. The bit Scomid never saw was the private, non work bit whereby he might have come to a different conclusion. He can't comment on Catherine's personality because he doesn't know what it is. The trouble with celebrities are that we know far too much about them and knowing about a celebs politics, what they had for dinner etc alienates. I've unfolluwed people because they revealed too much and I didn't like what they revealed. Scomid is too nasty, biased or immature to realise that Catherine is being supremely professional and in separating work from her public life is probably saving her sanity. All the Royals will have a public 'poker face' that won't reveal much, quite rightly so. Don't knock a woman for doing her job Scomid!!!

Megian's hand is all over every page of the book. She is the culprit and manipulate the whole thing. She is a very dangerous narcissistic human being. Haz is like a robot 🤖 to MEGAIN to play with like a toy.

Why does Omid not sue the publishers of the so called fake copies?

The couples silence is golden - surely they wouldve replied by now had they not been involved with the making of this book from the start. We'd all like to hear from Harry in regards to what has been written in this book by Omid. What was actually said and when. We all know the palaces are bugged up to the hills.

Harry will never denounce the book. The author has too much dirt on those two, they would be the topic of his next book. Their silence tells me, they have finally backed themselves into a corner.

Megan said several remarks were made, to Harry, in relation to her pregnancy with Archie. Harry, in the same interview, said one conversation was had before they married. So which racist story is it? At least get your stories straight before hand.

Catherine Princess of Wales is a hands on mother of three young children. She has the duty and privilege of raising the future king of the UK and spares….which in itself is a job. She will raise them well because she is a dedicated mother, not flying off to award givings or concerts or holidays. Being dutiful and beautiful are not bad things…. I think that calling her a stepford or stepford ish wife is offensive. I am a wife and mother, and believe me….it is a lot of work, even with help. And I don’t have the events she has to cope with. She is a wonderful person and fantastic role model and I wish her all the blessings she deserves.

Things can get mistranslated, but not names.

Scooby has front stabbed Megain and Hapless for 30 pieces of silver, this is all a PR exercise to boost sales and he has ruined his professional reputation and has managed to bury the Harkles reputation also. He couldn't investigate his own rear end without the aid of a map.

He look pleased with himself on that interview no remorse or apologise to the royals . I hope someone sues and all comes out where his sources came from

Omad in the book maliciously assassinated the character of Queen Camilla and the Princess of Wales - and then blames the Dutch translator who categorically stated that the 2 names were in the manuscript she was asked to translate. Omad is either terribly sick in the mind or a big liar (or both). Harry used the term "unconscious bias" BUT MM in the Oprah interview said it would be "very damaging" to the person (singular) who alledgedly have the "concern" re the baby's skin. THEREFORE SHE WAS INSINUATING RACISM.

I think that what our good doctor was implying by calling the Writer Of The Rag “young” was just that OS is not a seasoned and respected royal journalist, most of whom are a good at least 15 years and more older and experienced. Just my opinion.

If the UNSUXCESSFULS want to talk about prejudice (another version of the 'R" word) how about MM's recent behavior at the Canucks hockey game in Canada. She smirked at the autistic woman whilst the woman sang the National anthem. Then PH took the puck from an autistic child who was meant to throw the puck to start the game off. I heard that MM wanted throw it but was told NO! Also, PH & MM pushed an autistic child away who tried to grab MM's hair. Was she afraid her wig would fall off? The event was to highlight autism. How is it that these two are allowed to be selectively prejudiced? I have a child on the autistic spectrum. These two get too much air time using the 'R" word. In regard to Covid Scabbies not having any interaction with the MM & PH regarding the book I don't believe that. There is so much information in the book (which by the way I have not read & will not read) that has been relayed by the media. It's no accident that Charles & Catherine were named in the book. Trying to pass off the blame on the translator is deplorable. That poor woman's career is on the line here & he doesn't care because all that matters to the threesome is what $$$ they can make by the sensationalism caused.

No one asked 'what colour the baby would be'. This keeps changing every time a different person 'explains' it. Everyone should go back to the Oprah interview where Megsy says 'concerns' which should probably have been 'showed interest', and Megsy, with careful editing from Oprah, contradicted what Harry said.

All Oprah’s fault for being a lousy journalist …. If she ever was one … she made her money in front of younger impressionable women who screamed and jumped about as though they were a cheer leading squad … I used to cringe when I saw an episode of her show …. Not long into it then turned it off

Spreading unsubstantiated information as fact is essentially the same as lying and should never be accepted as normal behaviour.

It is, of course, possible to mistranslate a word or two, especially if English notorious idioms (skin of the teeth??) occur in a piece of writing, but names? No. Names cannot be mistaken for anything else. If the translator does not translate accurately what is on the page, they will lose their reputation, and, very quickly, any further translation work.

Scabies' accusation is even worse than suggesting the translation is wrong. He says the names were not in the manuscript, so he's effectively accusing the translator of changing the text and inserting names which were not provided. Or is he accusing the translator of making up the names? Because, if the names were not in his manuscript, where would the translator get them? The whole situation is nonsense and if it wasn't engineered by Scabies & the Harkles, I'll be a monkey's uncle. (There's an English idiom for you!)

Unconscious bias = stereotypes. For those who might be confused.

As a person outside of the Britain, as a person of (I hope) reason and knowledge of the world, I would like to have a complete transcript of the conversation that did initially originate this row. Time, place and exact wording! Only then I will give any credit to any claims made by anyone, whether Prince Harry himself, Meghan Markle, Omid Scoby, etc…

Good call on the title of the book.

I think our society gives too much importance to FEELINGS rather than FACTS. Feelings are inherently subjective, facts are not. FACTS are TRUTH. If we rely on facts and reason we will all be much better off. In regard to these accusations against the RF, until I see verifiable proof that what was said was undeniably “R” , I can not believe it happened. There is no personal history of such behaviors or attitudes among the RF members in question either. While gossip and rumors can be titillating, accusations of “R” are serious and defaming, not to be tossed around carelessly.

I think the Royals should sue the whole lot of them, first of all we're not all idiots like Scooby-Doo and Meghan Markle would like to think, Scooby-Doo and Meghan Markle wrote that book and they should be held accountable for spreading false information throughout the world about the Royal Family.

So the British Royal Family need to take part in ‘ I’m a celebrity get me out of here’, Dancing on ice, Britain got talent to name but a few so they can be more relatable to the teenagers and twenty somethings of the UK and the Commonwealth? When they would find the time for all this is a mystery to me and others. I feel sorry for all their many charities that would surely lose out because of this.
