Psvr2 is my first headset and ive had it for 3 months. I cant go back to flatscreen gaming, I absolutely love my psvr2. I have 42 games already and plan on picking up 2 games this friday as well as like 6 more the week after. The haptics and headset rumble is next level

We dont know if VR will drop with it or come later like resident evil games but twisted metal is AAA. Now, you can say its just rumors or leaks so it doesn’t mean nothing but i can also just say just cause you havent heard about any AAA confirmations for psvr2 doesnt mean it’s definitely not happening.

Great video! I’m loving PSVR2 with the exception of the tiny sweet spot. For me it’s about high end PCVR like gaming without the hassles like endless tinkering with settings, drivers etc

i'm using quest 3 with virtual desktop and it's flawless. never had any issues with drivers/setting and everything worked in my first try. my pc right now has ryzen 7 5700x3d with 4080 super, but i had the same great experience with 3700x and 6700 xt

Legendary Tales refreshed my interest in the headset. Until just a few days I was knee deep in the Quest 3.

Great video dude. Psvr2 is in a tough spot but there's a lot of fun to be had.

Absolutely love PSVR2. Got a huge backlog and not enough time to get to them all lol. Love the headset haptics and eye tracking and the OLED screen. It is easily my favourite gaming device ever. Just amazing. How long u gettin out of the controller batteries? I'm averaging 4 hours I think. They charge real fast but yea Sony need to start selling replacement controllers.

Is quite crazy that they don't sell controllers. What are they thinking? Most PSVR2 owners will probably have bought a spare pair. That is money on the table right there. No one is gonna buy a second VR headset just to get the controllers.

I wonder if there will ever be a fix for the Mura. I don’t notice it very much in certain games but I’m not complaining too much bc games like re4 blow my mind. Very well done. Awesome video! I am excited for the future!

Many games best versions are on VR2. Loving mine so much. Edit - Sony just blew things up announcing pcvr support this year. They just mic dropped their 1 year anniversary party.

Pcvr top spec headset and pc owner here. Sad part is im going to eventually cave and buy this thing I know its not going to look any where near the quality ive been used to. But those exclusives have me wanting more….The exclusives are in the top 10 vr games across all platforms so I have no choice

Great video! I can tell youve had to deal with a lot of annoying VR haters and fans alike. I feel like the whole public discussion of PSVR2 is so stupid and messy- its refereshing to hear someone with a level head cover the subject. Both you and PSVR without Parole are my favorite creators on the subject- not just because you celebrate good games but also you hold Sony to task for the terrible job that they are doing.

I really can't get Sony's thinking. Did they decide they don't want to bother just when it was about to release? They are pulling a Vita on PSVR2 but yhis time on release. Now they stop production because it isn't selling. Well yeah, you aren't promoting it or trying to make it successful. They haven't even bothered transferring the Astro Bot game to PSVR2.

Great video, i am still using the Oculus Rift CV1 and looking to upgrade. Now, i was looking at the Quest 3 and or the PSVR 2 but you have made my mind up. There are far to many cons for the PSVR 2 for me, so going with the Quest and use the money that i would have spent on the PSVR 2 getting a better GPU. Just the video i was after, thank you.

That was really good. I love my psvr2 more than the pcvr but ya I I would love to see more love as far as software support. Like KZread VR, where the hell is that and why is it not supported yet?

Still enjoying my PSVR2 but I get why a lot of people are upset with Sony. I have 4 VR headsets right now(PSVR, PSVR2, Reverb G2 and Quest2) I use all of them but the PSVR2 is my main headset. I love how easy it is to use and I love that the visuals/graphics are really good for the price compared to PCVR. And I love the exclusives (GT7, RE8, RE4, Horizon, Synapse...) I hope there will be more good games in the future but for now I'm happy with the games we got. The only thing I miss are some of the PSVR1 games like Wipeout, Astrobot and several more.

Good, fair, honest assessment. Thanks. I think things are going to be in a holding pattern until sony cares as much about the psvr2 as the people who own one do. We're not there yet.

Really enjoying the PSVR2 but worried for the future as Sony does not seem very invested in it.

I did trash this for how poor it performed withbnot enough system sellers, but that whole star wars idea with eye tracking, made right, I'm sold.

I hate when companies don’t market things that are awesome and act like it’s consumers’ fault for not caring enough about out it.

This is the Best PSVR2 Review I'v watched so far. I'v been thinking of buying one for some time now but I am really concerned about the Mura and in-game Eye Lag noticeable in certain games, Some people describing it at times like looking through a frosty window, And after watching this Excellent review from MartyDude I think I will wait until the PS5 PRO comes out later this year and see if it fixes all of the graphical and in-game lag issues that are really putting people like me off from parting with our hard earned cash and finally take the plunge into the VR world. I really do hope the PS5 Pro is worth the upgrade and then hopefully make the PSVR2 headset a more enticing purchase.... Great Review Martydude... Honest from the heart and No Bullshit.. Some cool stuff happened today!

I'm really enjoying my PSVR2 (mainly cause I got it for $300.00) but mainly it's cause as a child I was a big fan of LIGHT GUN shooters... and if companies that made those games step back into the market like SEGA with Virtua Cop and House of the Dead... and Namco can revisit Time Crisis series So games like PAVLOV, Zombieland, and Arizona Sunshine 2 are my go to games right now and I'm loving when I do play it.

One title comes to mine as I am enjoy sim racing is GT7.

all they had to do was add the pancake lenses and it would have been a perfect vr headset even with the wire

I agree that PSVR2 is not for people who like innovation. They missed the opportunity to give us the same amount of buttons as a regular Dualsense controller, but thought that haptics in a Quest style controller was the better idea.

Well i just got psvr2 and i cant play any games thanks to a launch day bug where one controller wont work ingame…. Theres a psuedo fix that works for a few games but not all… about to return it for a replacement and hope it was a fluke

PSVR was the first VR for our house, we were hyped for the future of gaming but Sony dropped the ball, was 50-50 on PSVR2 and Quest 3, NGL 1 year on we made the right call going for the Q3.

You got 7 VR headsets and you’re now on psvr2? I’d expect to be a little slow on the software year 1&2. But will see what year 2 brings

I still have a PSVR1 but was never convinced to buy a PSVR2. It only takes 1 reason to stop people buying but I have several. Lack of backwards compatibility with PSVR1, Almost no AAA developers making games for PSVR2, The headset is wired with no wireless option, Hardware issues like moiré effect and very small lens sweet spot. Price is at least $200 too much, Lack of physical game releases for it, 95% of the games are Indie Quest ports; you can't support or sell a premium product when most of your library is indie games. For new people entry cost is essentially $1000 for mostly indie games? I think in hindsight Sony should have made a Quest competitor that could have plugged into PS5 for those few high end experiences but overall most of VR is low end experiences so their bet on high end VR didn't pay off. I won't be buying a Quest as I don't trust Meta so I'm kind of in VR no mans land right now.

For some odd reason, I feel like you’re just repeating popular talking points you see on the internet. Mura isn’t even spelled properly in this comment and I’m unsure of the sweet spot you’re even mentioning, as an owner of the headset. If you mean to where the picture is clear, isn’t that anything that requires your unique eyeballs placement, person to person? I wouldn’t take goggles from a person with a smaller head and then say there’s a small sweet spot to where I can see; that’s what adjusting is for 😭😭 like wdym lmao I use my Ps5 way more than my psvr2 and agree that there’s several franchises I would like to see come over to it, but some of this other stuff is just people talking fr….

Hope Sony will boost psvr 2 overall performance with PS5 pro. And one more thing why Sony has no psvr2 games on game pass ?

PS5 Pro is going to awesome for the VR stuff! Also, I think they don't do that because its so many indies / small studios and they need full sells.

I am the one who for you is not PSVR 2 - I'm loving Quest headset. And still I bought PSVR 2. Even before I tried it, I knew that I'll be keeping both headsets. For me it is two headset for different use cases. And after 10 months of using both, I'm still stand by it. However I love VR and I love gaming, have money to buy both. Also I want to add - I think people are have too high bar for PSVR 2 support, they wait for too much exclusives. We are in nieche platform\genre. We need to accept it. I'm glad with every big PSVR 2 release. But I don't think that we must been having a lot more.

No developer will make a game or even port for a device that has too little sales and won't bring much game sales. When you want to sell devices you need to make people feel there is a good reason to invest in one. What Sony is currently doing is creating exactly the opposite feelings. People are worried Sony doesn't care about it and that is no future investment. Sony needs to restore confidence and make people feel they won't waste their money buying one. First they need one or two great first party titles that will become the showcase for their VR and everyone will want to play and thinking getting one just to play them. If they have those titles in development then they need to show something and start creating hype about them so people can feel optimistic a about what is coming and start buying headsets.

Psvr2 has its bangers but its a peripheral that Sony doesn't care about sadly. The Quest 3 is a whole vr ecosystem. Not really comparable tbh. Will Sony even bother with a revision by the time the Quest 4 etc is out🤔

They don't need a revision just because Facebook throws one Quest after the other. Is a decent VR headset that can be used for many years. Sony only makes one VR headset for every generation of Playstation. At best they will make miniscule improvements like better controller battery and slightly clearer lences etc. With PS5 pro coming and PC compatibility then that will also improve it. What they need is more great games and hype and advertising around it.

@@SIPEROTH Dude, Sony shut all their vr studios:/ the only reason they're getting it to work on pc is too sell the rest of the stock they made. And then, it'll just be another option for pc vr gamers who will only choose a superior headset cuz it'll be old by then. It sux but vr needs another 10/15 years yet before it goes mainstream. Its just a shame that a non gaming company like Meta has to bankroll it all until then. I'm tired of paying for a mediocre and sparse vr gaming landscape tbh

I have the quest 2, 3, -psvr 1, 2 - quest 3 resolution is incredible. Psvr 1visuals were not great, but we had a ton of great titles and astrobot. PSVR2 for what i was told, honestly, doesn't look great. doesn't come anywhere close to clarity of quest 3 and isnt much better than psvr1 quite honestly. The res evil, gt7 games are excellent, and sort of worth price of admission. However, sony needs to step it up w/ the software, otherwise, huge let down. I do not expect them too however at this point, i think lost cause most likely.

The glarity is slightly less due to lenses but is better than the first and the graphics are better than the Quest. I don't think glarity is a huge issue.

It's a failure. They arent even making anymore for the time being. It's not killed but they cant sell enough to keep a huge backstock. Where are the system selling games. That's over $1000 to play 1 game so where's the games tgat are more than tech demos? More RE8, Horizon was a gimmicky tech demo. Pavlov is the closest they've come to doing a reall call of duty style vr2 game. I guarantee they get battlefield or cod on VR2 with the same graphical quality as ps5 or series X regular version games, then i think it'd do better but not until they lower the cost.

I prefer every game on the Quest3 then on PSVR2,this big a** headset that hat to be balanced on the head for sweetspot,for me the biggest dissapointment of the last year
