If you get atx 3.0 psu you dont have to add the "gpu tax"

PSU Cultists List is not gospel. My Rosewill SMG is on the list in "B" however, the Rosewill CMG is not. The only difference between those that I can tell is cables. The CMG has a single molex power cable. The SMG all the sata power cables end with a molex plug. (Both are 80+ Gold 850w) PC Part picker is 100% either. No longer listing the SMG or the CMG and only has 2 prices in the Rosewill list.

about 4 year ago i built a pc , 1. motherboard---Gigabyte GA-H310M H 2. cpu---intel i5 8500 3. 4gb ram (2400Hz) + 8gb ram (2400Hz) 4. 128gb ssd + 1tb hdd 5. CM-PS450 OFFICE (450w) so now i want to add Peladn AMD Radeon RX580 8G Gaming 8GB should i need to upgrade my power supply my budget is low, suggest me a comfortable for all these please

Well... it depends. I think that a 450W power supply should in THEORY support the RX 580 8GB, but I think that you should get a 550W power supply in case you get any power spikes, as well as adding extra headroom for other upgrades in the future. Please take this with a grain of salt, since this is only a theory.

@@CalinUngureanu-IT thank you for replying. i dont want to upgrade any part further. rather i would built a pc according to your advice but later. if i dont add or upgrade any other part can i use my old ps {CM-PS450 OFFICE (450w)} , it dosent have any 6 in connector for rx 580.

I'm not sure @@user-rt7jk4ke5y ... I think any compatible unit with around 550W will be fine, but I made a few recommendations for the mid-end in my video if you need any specific models.

I honestly think modularity on power supplies is overrated. If you don't build or modify PCs regularly or have very limited space in your case I really don't feel like it is worth to spend any extra money on detachable cables. It literally only saves you like 5 minutes every couple of years

Actual it's not overrated. You can just replace a bad cable vs disconnecting everything and returning a whole power supply. Seems like you have just had non modular psus.

@@jayv231_ had a semi modular at some point. Also how many people have you heard of that had a cable breaking on a non-modular psu. I fairly certain the cables are the least likely part to fail.

tip, DO NOT GET THE V1100SFX.

haha i love how he says there is two types of power supplies.. ATX ( the bigger one on the right} and SFX on the left... and you cuoldnt even get that simple distinction correct.. thats an SFX-L power supply... maybe dont do a video of you cant even get the first thing right and people go to buy a power supply for a micro atx case and buy the wrong oen.. bujt what ever Look at all those views you have .. keep it up and youll make hundreds of dollars

I sadly can't buy these power supplies myself, and that image was the only good quality picture I could find online for the visual representation. The idea was that you could see the approximate difference in size between the different power supplies and have an idea of what they look like when comparing eachother, or at least something similar. But thank you for your feedback anyways!
