PSMA PET Imaging - Summit 2021

In 2020, the FDA approved the first PSMA-targeted PET imaging treatment for men with prostate cancer. PSMA (prostate-specific membrane antigen) is a protein found mainly on prostate cancer cells, and targeting PSMA may make it easier to find prostate cancer during a PET scan. Doctor Giuseppe Esposito of Medstar Georgetown University Hospital shares great insight into PSMA PET Imaging and prostate cancer. This session was part of our VIRTUAL ZERO Prostate Cancer Summit, a free online event that took place from Feb. 28 - March 4 2021.
