wonder why PSLV produce more trail smoke compare to europeon or other country's rockets

@36:30 i have noticed this only on old space shuttle launches of NASA

tha's because a few european and russian soyuz use RP-1 a derivative of refined kerosene as propellants whereas usa's space shuttle boosters ariane and indian rocjets use ammonium perchlorate composite propellants(APCP) which produces more smoke and pollution wheras RP-1 produces water and co2.
