Just wondering, why use the bushing under the grip with a down angle QD instead of the lower one with a 0 degree QD? It will lower the center of mass even further and enhance the effect of the rod by having the weight out a little further.

It will lower it further you are correct. It will also increase the effective length by approx 4” and for this rod and build it’s too much for a hunting setup for me. It also FEELS less favorable than the traditional location with a degree down. But by all means run it for your build it’s a great option!

@@jeauxgoubeaux6264 I do run it in the lower bushing. I was just curious about your reason not to. And I can see your issues with it too. We sadly can't hunt over here, so I think I just don't know the struggle the bar can be.

So i hunt with an axis 4mm. How did you get in down to 285 grain built. Mine weighs 264 just cut before components. Using the lightest steel components from Iron Will. I couldn't get an axis 4mm under 420g.

The 4mm axis build was 475 the procomp came in at 505

I've never shot a high end pse probably never will I like Hoyt but there is nothing more exciting than a new bow
