These teachings are brilliant 💖. My New Years resolution is to study a psalm every day, and I’m loving it. I’m learning so much! I really feel so much closer to God through today’s psalm. As a new Christian I found some of the Old Testament so frightening. I’m the adulterous woman who should have been stoned. And I can tell you that’s the least of things I’d be guilty of! But through learning more and more of the Bible, and particularly about the nature of God and trusting in His promises I can simply walk away from who I used to be; knowing that I am a new creation, not tied to my mistakes of the past and I now look forward with excitement to living my life for Him and can’t wait to meet my creator in Heaven one day.

The alduterous woman is talking about a time in history where the Israelites were serving idols and even sacrificing their children to idols. They were accepting Gods gift oflife and praying to foreign gods who gave them nothing. The women att the time did not participate in the rituals but because they didnt fight and run away to save their children they were included in the sins and destruction.

I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart. I will tell of all Your Wonders. For You have maintained the right cause; You have sat on throne judging righteously. The Lord also will be a stronghold for the oppressed; A stronghold in times of trouble. For You O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You. In the works of his own hand the wicked is snared. In the net they hid, their own foot has been caught. Let the nation's know that they're but men. Selah

Sir, am from India.. Would like to add a point to the Faith part.. there are quite a number of Psalms which has verses in the middle sounding like Jesus himself talks (like Psalm 22). From that perspective, verses David prayed could be from himself & verses quoting as those prayers are already answered & things done, may be the Lord prophecying in David.. Reason why I view in this way is that many gimmicks of positive confessions going on in churches where people are made to positively confess like David did & their prayers will be answered, while I do not deny the Faith David could have had in the LORD as you mentioned.. Just my opinion.. God bless.. ☺

How can one know God's character? He is all encompassing. How is that even possible? I think that is a sinister note to start a sermon on.

In context, was he to ask for wisdom if he lacked wisdom and ask in faith. Verse 6 and 7 “6 But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, 8 being a [i]double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.” Or does verses 6 and 7 refer to prayer in general?
