God bless you Pastor Paul. As I've been reading through the Psalms, your teachings have been very helpful. God used your message tonight to bring needed encouragement. I am in a very difficult circumstance right now. My Proverbs 31 devotion this morning mentioned Hebrews 10:23. I was meditating on that and that God is in all the details of our life. Then my Psalm 79 study this evening from you has that same verse. Only God. Even though my circumstance is very difficult & there is a lot of complications and uncertainty - I am reminding myself of God's promises. He is my Provider, my Comforter, my Strength, my Deliverer, and my Guide. He can be trusted.

I can’t relate when God says to Moses that He will wipe out those people. And being God, would He not have realized that His enemies would mock Him for doing that to His own without Moses telling Him that? As a child of God, I would not want God to just wipe me out because I failed to be faithful. My earthy father would love me too much to do that and God loves me more. Can you explain this so I understand it better?

I feel as though the Hebrews knew better but didn't do better. Also human nature, and they were in Egypt so long and left physically but maybe not 'spiritually'. I mean how can you make a golden calf and call that your 'god'? Every judgement God makes is correct. They actually deserved to be taken out after everything God did for them, imagine they saw the miracles they knew it was God, a pillar of fire and smoke, Pharaoh and his army destroyed, 10plagues.....but that's the point isn't it He's a God of incredible mercy and grace. I cant even get my head around it. We fall short just like they did, we are no better but thank God He doesn't deal with us as we deserve. Or there would be no one alive.
