Thank you so much for this video. I've been a Christian my whole life, but I never felt like one. I never went to church or read the Bible until last year when I had to go to some difficult times. Multiple moments I asked God for help, but never felt His presents. One night, when I was crying and desperately calling for help, begging Him to show Himself to me, suddenly a warm energy got trough my whole body and I knew it was Him. The next day I stumbled upon Psalm 46, verse 5 in particular, on social media. This verse helped me to go trough the tough times last year. I can't thank God enough for that. Since then I've been reading the Bible and go to church every now and then. Even though I read a lot of beautiful parts of the Bible, Psalm 46 has my heart and I'll always go back to it. God bless.

Having God meet you in your bedroom: I know just how silly we are. But this experience happened twice in a house I lived in with an awesome family. I was going through a real painful time and couldn’t wait each night to get into my quiet bedroom, turn out the lights and just pray. And I prayed A LOT! But one night, I shut the door, turned the lights off, got on my knees and opened my mouth to pray....and I was suddenly so aware that God was there to meet me....and I couldn’t say a word! I wasn’t afraid, like terror...but I was freaked out, in a good way...and just sat there for what seemed like a long time. And I was made aware not to repeat the same thing I had been weeping and crying out about...He knew it well. So, once the strength of His presence lessened, I just began to praise Him. And when I felt released from praising Him...I hightailed it into my bed and pulled the covers up tight! Again, I could say nothing, and just lay there AWARE of Him, until I fell asleep. In that same house, the husband of the couple I lived with (who was a marine at the time but is a pastor now), would get up very early every morning and go out to the living room to pray. He told us, one morning he got up, and he KNEW God was waiting for Him out in that room...and ( he was so adorable and funny)...he said it scared him so bad, he RAN back to his bedroom, jumped in bed and pulled the covers over his head. This woke his wife up, who asked him what was the matter? He peeked his head out and said, “God is out there in the living room waiting for me!” to which she said, “ well don’t you think you better go out there then?” to which he replied like a little boy...” huh-uh! No way!” and he pulled the covers up tight and stayed there till his alarm went off for work. We really are silly!

The secular saying, " Get out of your feelings!" is one we should give credence to. Knowing The Father, Our Father, goes beyond ours senses! ❤

This takes me back to Numbers 16 where Korah along with few others rebelled against Moses. Where God singles Korah and his household and isolates them amidst the assembly and the earth opens up and swallows him and his household alive. Sons of Korah writing these psalms shows that Korah's sons moved away from Korah and stood on God's side. And for them to say in Psal. 46:2 "therfore we will not fear though the earth give way and the mountains fall..." What a testimony.....

Love this! I also interpreted everything leading up to verse 10 as telling us how mighty God is and how He can melt the earth in one word and cease all wars to the ends of the earth and that THAT SAME GOD, the One who can do all these seemingly impossible things, is EVER PRESENT in this broken world and specifically in us, walking by our side and telling us to be still and know that He is right there beside us, leading us to His glory and His kingdom.

I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Tonight (July 4), I attended an Independence Day worship service and supper at a local Presbyterian Church. Psalm 46:10 was one of the Scriptures that was read. On February 20, 2017, my mother entered the Church Triumphant. At her funeral, Psalm 46 was read as the Old Testament Lesson. It was read by a Baptist minister of the church where she was baptized and saved and where she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior. Also read was Psalm 33:12. Maybe you can do a talk on it in the future.

Yes, This World is Sick when they Do evil and Wicked things before the🥺👍👍Lord. There Very Foolish to Lead Children Astray. When Certain Entertainers Worship the Devil. There Is No way that People should let their Children Watch these Kinds of Behavior Knowing that it's Totally Wrong. God is Awesome and He Saves Lives so you Won't Go to Hell. It's True.
