    Be wary. Large sellers have multiple ebay accounts. They sell graded on one and raw on other. For example Four Sharp Corners (graded) and New England Sports Cards (raw)

    Tip: You can put the minimum grade you’re willing to take on a card on when submitting to PSA. This way if it grades an 8 or below they won’t put it in that case and you can just sell it raw.

  • @jasongoodman9604

    @jasongoodman9604

    newb question, why would you rather sell it raw vs graded as an 8? would a buyer think they can get a 10 so pay more than they would pay for a graded 8?

  • @evanandrews2751

    @evanandrews2751

    3 жыл бұрын

    Jason Goodman yeah exactly when cards are below 9 they start to go for less than the raw card itself. This isn’t always the case but most of the time. Its better to not get it slabbed if it’s lower than 9 because someone’s more likely to buy it raw and try to grade it themselves than buy it as a psa 8.

    Nice submission! I just want to add to your comment about ebay sellers. That there are a lot of dishonest sellers on ebay. They know that their cards have damage and they don't disclose it in their listings. Those Optic holo's are definitely a tough grade. They had a lot of surface issues. On your Luka Holo I noticed a surface mark on the right border close to the middle. I saw it as you was moving it back and forth. I still think you did very well. You got a good number of 10's.

    If you look at the Luka holo that graded a 9 around 14:46 I can see what looks like a surface dimple on the mid right side of the card, everytime you moved it left to right under the light it's there. Not sure if that's the case or card but I think it's y you got the 9. As someone else said, cross grade it to bgs and you have a chance at a 9.5

    I love psa too, but give sgc a look. Pricing for grading is much cheaper and turnaround times are faster. Definitely worth a look.

    What’s the difference between psa and becket grading? What’s the cost to have a card graded? Does it matter on the sport or type of card?

    When the grading cost more than the most of the actual cards, you know you are wasting money.

    You didn’t fail going 50% on Lonzo being they are like $20 raw and $160 as a PSA 10, plus the PSA 9 on many occasions could be a PSA 10 the next go around.
