Great call T-Pott! The Topps Mystery Refractors from regular Topps products in 1997 Football and 1995 Basketball (NOT the mystery refractors inserted in Topps Finest Basketball packs though) are incredibly rare and under appreciated. The 1995 basketball versions look the best IMO though they usually have print line issues...

POP1s are also extra nice when competing in the PSA set registry.

I agree that Court Kings cards are very underrated. I’m actually 25 cards in on the 30 card 2019 Points in the Paint insert set in the Sapphire (SN’d to 25) parallel. Such a cool artistic looking set when all the cards are side by side

Love the Barry Sanders cards. If you really like that shine, the 1997 Zenith Z-Team Gold Mirror Barry Sanders is a must have.

percentage-wise, $2 or $3 per card is a lot if you are only paying $15 a card, like in a bulk sub...if you submitted 100 cards, $200 or $300 is a decent amount of money on top of grading costs -- cool cards in your sub

Hello maybe I’m old but for me to be fair to people I think that grading companies should be more lenient on printing flaws or cantering if is a common problem in certain brands or years. I have been in the hobby for over 35 years and some brands and years it’s just impossible to get a decent centred card in the entire print run. As long as corners, edges and no creases or stains, grading companies should take the rest into consideration. If it’s a set that a print line or off centering isn’t a common issue then yes dock the grade but if it is a known problem of the particular product then it should not affect the grade. Like seriously, if a tiny print line or a dot the size of a pen tip is going to make a difference on an otherwise perfect card, imo grading has went too far. Before grading if you had corners and edges that were sharp, no stains or creases and the centering didn’t cut off any of the card you got top dollar. Heck you had a valuable rarity if you had all the above but the centering was so bad it had part of another card with it. Now if you had that graded, it would not be a rare and unique card worth something, it would be considered as garbage. Idk grading is more of a headache than a great breakthrough in my mind. But I won’t get into it, but just think of all the negatives that have arisen in the hobby since grading started in comparison to before.
