It looks nice but price point is STEEP lol at least for me I don't think I need all the extra features. I'm not a competitive player so it doesn't have as much appeal to me. I'd maybe get it if it was cheaper like u mentioned, most won't be able to afford this.

Well, I play fortnite and controller feels great in my hands and the fact that you can change and alter it in the ps5 setup it is worth $200 value . During my game play my friends notice a major difference my kills

I was sold within 2 games of MW. The 2 back paddles set up as run & slide make it see much more enjoyable to move around maps if you run & gun like me (also saves the joysticks from drift issues). This was all before realizing that I can adjust the triggers lol I was so impressed that I forgot that feature. It's worth it if you want the best gaming experience

Yeah with the Xbox elite series two you can replace everything except the joysticks. When when your Xbox series two controller starts to get stick drift and it’s not a matter of if but when you are gone have to replace a 180$ plus tax controller instead of a 20$ replaceable joystick like the Sony controller. And it’s important that people know that

​@@RendonTech The fact that you can replace the thumbsticks alone will be great for longevity easy. I can imagine third party companies making custom analog sticks that don't have the stick drift. Particularly the ones that use I think magnetic stick things (forget the brand but they build driftless joycons for the Switch)? But yeah not having to buy a new controller when the stick drift kicks in is a major boon.

I tried the Victrix because of 4 pedals. But it turned out the Victrix is too small for me. It didn't feel good in my hands and that was a dealbreaker for me. I'm going for the Edge now. I'm used to this prices, was playing an Aimcontrollers before. I hust hope i can get used to only 2 pedals. But the overall integration into the Playstation system and adjustable aimcurves and deadzone is pretty impressive to me. Replacing the sticks is also a huge bonus. Looking forward to this thing.

I have the Edge and it’s a really nice controller. I like that the adaptive triggers still work while also having adjustable trigger stops. Other pro controllers out for PS5 don’t have adaptive triggers and haptic vibration.

I think 200 is not a bad price since scuff reflex and battle beavers are selling for closer to 300 and on top of that PlayStation made it so you can replace the stick modules (for $20) if needed, all other companies force you to literally buy a whole new controller if one of your sticks just stops working, thats just my opinion. They should have made the battery replaceable as well. With it being integrated that means you have a buy a new one in 1 to two years time.

except that in terms of price difference between elite - xbox controller also comes with additional stick drift out of the box :) that little feature which someone would like tho. also new sticks on PS roller is relatively cheap, so in long term i think this is fair price.

Only con imo is the battery but I keep mine plugged in so idc about the con imo it’s the best pro controller for the ps5 imo

the xbox elite 2 was $200 when it first dropped two years ago and when i bought it, my right bumper was broken within two weeks. I liked the elite but its durability was terrible so the price point isn't an issue for me.

I thinks it’s worth the $200 the unboxing the build quality the UI the customization with the different paddle trigger stops all the deadzones stuff definitely worth it imo

The Xbox elite controller wasn’t 175$ when it dropped anyway. It was definitely 200$ or more if I’m remembering correctly

Has anybody experienced weird face buttons here? X and O not feeling the same as regular Dualsense because of less travel, but I don’t know if that was made like that on purpose (you know, less travel, quicker reaction) or if it is a faulty unit I got. Still, it feels weird at the beginning but don’t know if it is just matter of getting used to it since I just received it a couple of hours ago.

The d-pad and buttons on the standard dualsense are wobbly and mushy. The edge is closer to the dualshock 4 in that regard, and its a thousand times better.

i think the 200$ (i would say 180 is more reasonable) for this controller is a lil too expensive for a controller but people are def blowing it way out of proportion for what you’re getting.

some times I think I'm the only one in the world who doesn't have more than 4 hours a day to play games, I don't get why everyone is mad about the 4 hour battery life, just set up a charging cable next to you smh

Just ordered this as I’m sick of getting stick drift. Sent my DualSense to Sony twice due to stick drift and it’s happened again

Love mine! If your worried about $200 then it’s not for you

But the xBox controller does not have the opportunity of changing the joystick, so when you get drift you will have to spend $130 again, with the edge just 20 bucks.

You said the cable was 5-6 ft tall while you held the cable next to you, the cable was at least 2ft taller than you, so you must be between 3-4 ft tall, lol

I can careless about battery life. If a gamer is playing competitively they’re going to be wired up regardless. Everything else is great about this controller

The battery life sucks but I’m gonna keep it real at im will to bet the average adult gamer plays about 3-4 hours most of us work lol and can’t be on a game for 7-10 hours like we use to so I’m not too worried about the battery life

@@itzsabbage3830 right but the Edge missing 2 more paddles and a longer battery life makes $200 an overpriced value. If it had the original battery life, four total paddles, kept the custom profile software, and swappable joystick modules, I’d even pay $250.

Battery life really isn't big deal and why is people complaining about the price no reason why price is being brought up. Best controller on the enture market way cheaper then scuff yet scuff is almost 300 lol and ps5 edge controllers is as of now officially best on market. This 200 dollar controller is for hardcore not for casual. I've had it for a month now it's by far better then elite series controller and I mind ya I'm a Xbox only controller since I'm super crazy picky on what I use for competitive. That triggers is hall sensors that's where more price comes from the spring that kept breaking on people is super beefy 3 times thicker litterly 3 times. The sensitivity the aim is pinpoint accuracy

The paddles has metal brackets to prevent huge wear and tear. I had to send in my Xbox elite to get it fixed since the buttons where the paddles are were wore out. I won't have to worry about that with ps controller. It's not worth less then 200. The reason why it's heavy cause there's a lot of metal brackets and metal pieces inside the controller. Sony fixed what Xbox had mistakes on. I own both and I only bought it for the analog switch out thing I wasn't expecting this controller to be 5 times better then my elite series. Loved my elite but it still had drift and it wasn't pinpoint accuracy like this edge is. Paddles I can use is nice (BTW anyone who says that it sucks cause it doesn't have 2 paddles do your research... you can bind 4 things. The touch pad can have 2 bindings and the fn also 2 bindings and the paddles as well has 2 bindings that's 6 bindings which Xbox Controller has "4" but technically it has 2 because those paddles wearing out in 2 months from heavy play time. I been using the living hell out of my ps5 edge and it's been worth it month I've used it the paddles stays firm isn't wobbly isn't any sign of wearing out which is due to the metal bracket

100% deserved 200$, look at Scuf or other aftermarket controller, much expensive and after few months it's broke L1 or whatever button. I choose for Playstation 5 this controller no doubt

Do not buy sonys trash ass controller. Mine had stick drift worse than my 6 month old controller right out the box. I ordered a replacement and guess what it had stick drift as well

Bro same! I’m surprised no one’s mentioning that issue maybe we got defected ones. I just submitted my return. I’m kinda bummed out, but honestly something else no one’s mentioning is about the rubber grips. They get so dirty fast even though I wash my hands frequently and it’s almost impossible to remove the stains.

Maybe you guys have to brake the controller in a bit? I remember when I was a young teen I got a nintendo controller and the the Y button was faulty but after a few hours of playing it just started working normally.

The controllers might not have drift in the first place it might just have residue on the metal sensor ring from the assembly or cutting the plastic into its shape. I had to clean a dual shock 4 controller that was getting drift so I cleaned that and it was good as new....... also rotate between controllers over using a controller tends to make it glitchy

Dude not everything is perfect is cheaper that most premium controller that for example if u get stick drift then u out of the water plus u can adjust it on the fly from the console when other u gotta use a computer sooo yeah I have it and wouldn't change for the scuf I have wich in terms of everything is inferior
