Bruh extreme is usually for controllers this shows they need to stick to that. Why cover the m2 port? Wtf? Also app is convenient. What if lose the remote?

I put my ssd in first put it on and it doesn't cover any ports and gives you a usb that u take away from the ps5

Things to know before buying. Have your ps5 clean internally so you don't have to reapply due to cleaning. As well make sure you have an ssd installed for same issue.

Speaking of my PS5 specifically, its a later generation bought in 2023 and with disc player, the BIG issue for me is that the "vent slots" are NOT the same on both sides. The light shines through lower on the left side (without the disc). The last two slots on the right side do NOT go all the way through, so you can't see behind them. This is HUGE if you have OCD.

Alright since nobody ever mentions this do not expect an even light distribution the leds because of the fan housings and unevenness of the edge you WILL I REPEAT YOU WILL!! see the individual LED diodes and how uneven and wavy they end up looking when light up at night they look good however my personal opinion is that the led strips would be a lot and I mean a lot smoother and nicer with a frosted LED strip to even put the waviness When looking at it from the front it looks like you have a bunch of little star lights inside

You put the sticky’s the wrong way and then fast forward it to not show you fixing them, you have to flip them underside down so sticky side up, you only peel if the entire circle breaks off.. this made me put them on with sticky side down thinking there was an extra layer to be peeled off

Only problem I see with this is two things. one it's going to take up a USB slot on the back which could be resolved by using a USB splitter and two how are you supposed to remove the SSD slot bay door because it obviously sticks to it.

Well you either put in an ssd memory expansion inside before you lay the led strip or get new led strips after removing them when adding a ssd memory expansion.

@@hagrid3803 yeah because I experimented One step thing is stuck to that bay door you ain't getting it off without destroying it. I definitely had to buy a new light strip cuz it rips the whole back side of the strip off whenever you remove it from the bay door and the whole side quit working.

@@BradmeiserI mean if your desk already has lots of RGB lights using this is useless. I personally see no reason to even do this. It affects to SSD slot. It’s of no use 😂

They released a new model with a USB that can have another USB device plugged into it so you don't lose the slot now :)

It absolutely baffles me that some people can't figure out how to successfully remove part of an led strip to put in the ssd, a little patience and a little heat.

I wish there was a set of led’s that had a straight orientation if that makes sense… I don’t really like the “dotty” look of the lights while they’re on. If anyone knows if that exists please lmk. Great video though my man!

Dbrands makes some led strips that are uniform but not quite as long.

I really want to be able to set an external USB led strip to sync with the controller led. That would be awesome. Being chased by the Cops in gta and the light strip behind your TV or your ps5 flashes with the controller. Someone smarter than me invent this and thank me when you get rich

I bought these from Amazon. Only some of the led lights working. So I sent the lights back. To get a refund. I tested the lights before install them on the ps5. Gutted they didn’t work

I highly don't recommend putting ps5 in rest mode as it is a PlayStation issue that's still occuring.

I'm using rest mode all the time to charge my controllers on the dock. Very very rarely I run into issue of no display but long pressing power button to turn off and then turn on works like charm.

So cool👍! The PS5 cost £400/£500 sonething.
