@@tarktayfur4002 The perfect combo will actually be the PS5 and the Series S if you want to have a feel of both the platform. Games like GTA5, RDR2 and Warzone are all going to be available on both platforms and will work the same.

@@tarktayfur4002 Cool brother. GamePass is a solid value for money offering and you will enjoy it thoroughly. You may need to get an extended storage like a HDD or SSD to store the older games and move newer games back and fro in case you want to play many games at the same time.

I upgraded from a PS4 pro to an Xbox series S and the Series S has absolutely blown me away with it's performance. I thought it'd be a lackluster experience but it's truly a next gen console that's much faster than the PS4 pro with the ability to upscale games to 4K you're not really downgrading in anyway shape or form. The PS4 pro was brilliant but the series S has more RAM, faster RAM, a much better CPU, a better GPU (both are around 4TFLOPS but the series S uses RDNA 2 architecture where the PS4 pro uses GCN so the series S has a newer architecture that's clocked faster). Highly recommend the Xbox series S for anyone who wants to experience next gen gaming but can't find a PS5 or Series X. Happy gaming ✌️

@Loso Banks I believe the Series S beats the Pro form the price to value ratio and it also benefits form the Game Pass. But the choice is not as simple as that brother, ultimately it all boils down to the type of games you play and which exclusives you like more, so base your decision around that brother. If you ask me and my choice personally between the PS4 Pro and the Series S, I will choose the Series S brother.

Thank you for the in depth review! I wasnt expecting such a detailed review of these two consoles together. I have both as well, but haven't opened the series s yet and was debating resell vs keep. I decided to keep because of quick resume, higher fps/performance, and having another year and a half of gamepass.

@@BabitSingh are you familiar with Microsoft dev mode on series s? It can be used to emulated from nes to PS2 era. Apparently it's one of the best devices for emulation with compatibility and performance. Could be an interesting video if you're into emulation.

I switched from a PS4 pro to Series S. I gotta say Xbox has a lot more features to make it interactive with your friends online. Not to mention it runs like a dream for it's price. Game pass is unbeatable in my opinion right now. I haven't paid for a single game the month I've had it so far! Give it a shot !

@@BabitSingh you are definitely a gamer like myself, in fact my favorite games I had on the Sony PS4 Pro I repurchased for the Xbox series S. During the Black Friday Xbox store and I love the graphics. Blessings

I bought the PS4 pro in late 2018 and am still very happy with it! Loading times stink but everything else is great. Quick resume, game pass, and being able to download backwards compatible games makes me interested. I mostly play sports games which are on both consoles. Like you I like graphics and I think it might be wise to just wait for a PS5. I may even wait for the PS5 pro in a few years. In the meantime I think my PS4 pro will be just fine! Thanks for the breakdown.

Thanks so much brother. Yes, I agree barring the wait times the PS4 Pro is great! It all comes down to the type of games you play. I have always felt that Sony had the better Game Exclusives last gen and they also were more in line with the type of games I like. So if you like Sony Exclusives its better waiting out for the PS5 at retail price and upgrading to the PS5.

@Loso Banks update .. I went to best buy a few weeks ago and they had an Xbox series S open box for $40 off. I said what the heck and picked one up. I didn't really need it but a good deal and have enjoyed playing Forza 4 and 5, flight simulator and the Ori games. Forza 5 shows me the S has good potential, game looks great! Game pass with EA play gives me a great deal to play a bunch of racing and sports games. This will do the job and give me time til the PS5 pro comes out. Hopefully consoles will be back to normal in stores by then.

I have a ps4 pro since it came out and still working fine. Been trying to upgrade to a ps5 but I can’t seem to find it anywhere at a reasonable price so I’m looking into the series s just as a place holder till I can find a ps5

Same here except I'm still on the launch PS4. And it's still totally fine and I have a lot of games to play for it. Have tried to get PS5 since launch with no luck. I don't really care for Xbox. I have a lot of PS4 games that I wanted to play on PS5 for optimization but since I can't get one I actually ended up just getting a Series S as a placeholder for awhile. I was able to get one on Stockx for $200. Such a steal. I'll just wait for the revised or pro PS5 at this point.

Hello, really like the channel and was impressed with the tips you gave with the motion smoothness enhanced in some Tv's to boost fps. As someone who owns a PS4 Pro and thinking of getting an XBox Series S I got so many questions. Do you actually play and stream games at the same time? Is there a need to install games from the Game Pass library? Or just pure streaming? Does the PS+ subscription work out as still cheaper than a yearly Game Pass subs? And would i need Xbox Live necessarily?

You can play the games after installing it form your Game Library. You download first and then play. We do not have Cloud Gaming here in India so I have never tried it but I guess on Cloud Gaming you can play games that are streamed. Game Pass has way more games and even have 1st day access to some games like Forza, Outriders, Halo to name a few. You do not need Live Gold unless you want to stream your gameplay and play with friends online. If you only play solo you don't need Live or Game Pass. But I will highly recommend that you get Game Pass as its great value for money.

@@BabitSingh I have a PS4 Pro with a 1TB Samsung SSD installed whilst an XBox Series S has only 512GG storage (minus the OS) so that's comparatively small vs the playstation. My concern obviously is the storage might run out pretty fast unless i just play two installed games at the same time like Forza or one game from the EA Play library.

@@TechNomadUK1 I understand your concern brother. But the storage does run out before you know it. One option is to connect an external SSD or HDD and you can store Xbox One games on it and play it from the external hard disk. Only games which have been made for X/S need to be stored on the internal drive to be played. You can easily store 4-5 large games at one time and use an external drive for the others on the Series S.

@@TechNomadUK1 The PS4 dual shock 4 controller I believe is slightly better than the Xbox one but its so marginal that it can be easily overlooked and is not important in my personal opinion. Please note that your TV/Monitor also plays a crucial role here, as the higher the input lag on your TV/Monitor the worse it may end up feeling. So do check your monitor or TV to get the best experience overall.

The Xbox Series S with the Game Pass is more bang for your buck. If you game on a TV from a distance of say about 7-8 feet you will not be able to make out the compromise In the resolution too. Plus you can play current gen titles on the Series S brother.

@@aviroopmaity I generally keep my picture settings on Dynamic picture mode. Only when I switch to play in 1080p@120 hz, I switch to the game mode with VRR turned on through my Xbox series S. On any picture setting the only setting I change is the Contrast enhancer which I keep on high. Apart from this all other settings I keep as is in the respective modes. For better brightness brother, make sure you turn off all power saving settings.

So the game will run better on xbox series s for shoters because of the frame rates ?

Some of the games do benefit from FPS boost. But this varies from game to game. Shooting games will benefit from it for sure.

I would say between the two get the PS4 Pro if its only for Fifa. Cause the Series S runs on less than 1080p when it comes to Fifa 22, and the PS4 Pro runs it at upscaled 4K. If you play other games than it depends on the types of titles you like. PS has some great exclusive titles as well so you may end up enjoying them too. the Xbox Series S is unbeatable when it comes to the load times in this comparison and it also has the benefit of GamePass. But for your Fifa needs, you should be better off on the PS4 Pro brother.

@@ezicarus8216 A good TV/Monitor also helps for sure. But irrespective of it, the Series S unfortunately performs worse than the PS4 Pro in the resolution department in this specific case. I guess it's down to the developers optimizing it for the Series S properly.

Most games now are digital and with the PS Plus you have many games included in the PS Plus Library so you can either enjoy them or buy and download any game form their store.

I would still say getting an Xbox series S makes more sense but buy based on the the titles you like playing brother. The PS4 Pro would probably still have a year's worth of juice left in terms of titles being released but you do have some sweet Sony Exclusives on it. You may also want to check out some Pre Owned PS5 options as they may be much cheaper. For instance here in India we get a Pre-Owned PS5 for around 38k now.

Which console should I buy? I wanna play cod warzone , valorant etc . In my country the price is almost same so I am confused .

COD is available on both the consoles brother but I believe Valorant is only available on PC. It will ultimately depend on the type of games you play apart from the ones you mentioned brother. I would pick up the PS5 over the two brother as it has great titles like God of War, Horizon, Uncharted, The Last of Us etc... if these games do not sound good to you then I guess you can go along with the Xbox Series X/S as it has the benefit of Game Pass. And between the PS4 Pro and Xbox Series S I will choose the Xbox Series S. But again, it boils down to the type of games you play.

I'd say go with the Series S as you will get to enjoy the next gen titles on it and the newer titles look fabulous on the Series S, it may not be as good in resolution as the Ps4 Pro or the more expensive newer gen consoles, but it will satisfy your basic gaming needs.

I'd rather have the series s, way better experience. I do have a series x and ps4 pro combination myself. I'd probably take either new xbox over a ps5. I'm not big on sony like I was last generation.

Babit hello im new to your channel after i recently bought a series s after owning a ps4 pro. I then later bought a series x and i have to say theres DEFINATELY been some lazy porting to the new consoles . I think this is what we are seeing here , like in your video What i think we are seeing is a ps4 pro version lovingly crafted pulling every ounce of performance from the console. On the new consoles a lazy early days port over with very little time spent optimising. I think the devs want to make a new game taking advantage of the new abilities and not work on the same titles and not be able to try out the ray tracing or other effects must hurt 😂 I think at the end of the lifespan of these new machines we will see the same thing repeated , lovingly crafted games with every Hz of processing used to the full. And whatever new machine arrives will get all the games ported over and theyll look worse! 😁 Thats what i think we are seeing .i hope so anyway. Thanks so much for your kind words and such a detailed comment. Much appreciated. I totally agree. Its up to the developers to port a game and optimize it as well. The reason the Xbox Series S kinda misses out on the graphic fidelity in most of the old games right now is because they are just the One S port and not the One X port. They could have taken the One X port of these old games and tweaked it but they chose to go the safer route, also limiting the graphical options offered in the game.

My dad gave me an option to choose xbox series s or ps4 i didint know what to choose but thanks to you i know now

Aren't the visual settings on each console different? Which doesn't seem to be thought of when comparing the graphics of each console. There's a lot of detail in the video but there is a lot that is left out on each console.

I'd say if you can then keep the PS4 Pro and still get the Xbox Series S brother, its a good combo to have so that you can enjoy the both platforms.

What about Next GTA ? And Does dev mode is same as jailbreak can I install mods

You had the brightness of the Xbox set a bit higher than that of the PS4... That could account for the higher "contrast", or rather that it was darker and then clipped the blacks. It could have a different with both settings neutral as well, but it shouldn't have in this day and age. - Another explanation could be some kind of HDR-feature, whether it's on the console-end or the screen-end, but that's up to you to figure.

No HDR settings were changed brother. In fact it was off. The real world experience in terms of colors and brightness is different to the footage seen brother. The Ps4 does not look as bright, dark or pale (depending on the game) as it does in the footage.

Get the Series S as you will be able to play all the Next Gen titles on it too.

At 8:50 u show the wrong specs of the PS4 pro.. have a clock speed of 911 and a significant higher bandwidth of 218 gb/s

It depends on the type of games you play brother. Sony has really good Single player story driven games like God of War, Uncharted, Horizon and Ratchet and Clank. But if none of these titles interest you then Xbox is the better choice as you get to play current gen titles and the Game Pass is a great value for money offering. There are now close to 500 games in Game Pass including EA Play.

So I'm deciding what to buy xbox series s or ps4 cause I want ro play monster hunter iceborne.

It totally depends on the exclusive titles you play. I personally feel the Sony Exclusives are better based on the type of games I play. But this is subjective and should ultimately choose a console based on the type of games they play.

It depends on the games brother. Xbox series S generally has graphical options but the PS4 pro has graphical options in very few games but it varies from game to game. On my Series S I now generally play in Performance mode on most of the newer titles.

@Loso Banks resolution in some games definitely looks better on the PS4 pro but it’s mostly for last gen games brother. The next gen games look almost equally good on the Xbox Series S.

It finally depends on the type of games you play apart from GTA 5 brother. GTA is available on both consoles but there are some exclusives like God of War, Uncharted, Horizon etc which are only available on the PS. If you like any of the titles I mentioned then a PS4 Pro is the way to go but if these titles do not mean much to you then go with the Xbox Series S as it is the current Gen, exceptionally great value for money and also has the Game Pass so you will not have to spend extra bucks on certain games. Also, FPS Boost really adds new life to old games and makes such a big difference.

I've been using ps4 fat 500 gb for 6 years playing games such as fortnite and COD but have not faced any issue like overheating etc. But I have heard that Xbox Series S has issues like overheating and turning off while playing so I need your suggestion about whether I should purchase it or not?

I have gamed on the Xbox for 8-9 hours straight on a few weekends. Not only is it NOT hot but also much quieter. Rest assured, its a great console for the price.

I currently have a PS4 not pro just bog standard,,, is it or will it be an upgrade if I get Xbox series s or am I wasting money please help

Coming from a base PS4 I'd definitely say its an upgrade. Plus you have the benefit of Game Pass. But consoles are generally about the type of games you like brother. Sony had the better exclusives last gen in my personal opinion. But from an upgrade perspective and valut for money perspective the Xbox is a great device!

@@lewisknowles4559 Battlefield 4 and 5, Fifa 21 and even the old Fight night and NFL 21 are all included in EA which is included in Game Pass Ultimate brother. So you should be able to enjoy these games at no extra cost apart from the subscription fees.

I believe the progress is stored on your Activision account, not your platform account. So you should be able to carry your progress over to the Xbox as well brother.

If you are a casual gamer and do not care for the resolution and only care about the FPS then its a decent choice given its price brother. But ultimately it boils down to the type of games you play. Choose a console on the basis of the game titles.

I have games from my ps3 that I never got around to even opening!!!! So I DEFINITELY don't need a library of video games because I would never get to them!!😂! I usually stay on 3 games for years! A couple of sports games and a shooter game! That will satisfy me for years!!! No bs...

:) In that case it would not matter which one you pick up brother and if you do not play too often then there is no point of paying a subscription fees for Game Pass and you are better off just buying a game and owning it and playing it at your own pace.

It ultimately depends on the type of games you play brother. If titles like God of War, Horizon, Uncharted and Spider-Man interest you then PlayStation is the console where you will get these exclusives but if it’s current Gen titles you want to play then it won’t be possible on PS4, it only possible on a PS5 or Xbox Series S or X. Plus you have the Game Pass on the Xbox which now has over 300 games! So from a price to value ratio Series S is gonna stretch your dollar and give you your moneys worth and will be my pick in this comparison with the PS4 Pro but if you want to experience true next gen with some great exclusives then PS5 is the console I will recommend.

@@redmamba8067 These 3rd party games are available on both consoles brother. Series S favors performance and the PS4 Pro focusses on graphics. Now it depends on what your preference is. Do you prefer Resolution or Frame rates? Also, in the event there are current gen exclusives in the future, you will only be able to play them on the current gen consoles.

I agree brother but here in India its quite expensive and I do not have the need for it right now as a lot of the games I play are still not the X/S versions of it, I shall wait for some sale or the prices to go down and I can then purchase it.

For about the same price in my country, around 300 euros for used PS4 Pro and new Xbox Series S I opt to buy Xbox. I'm just sruggling between exclusives and Xbox game pass. Still dunno if Redragon can work with Xbox Series S. 😊

I Have a PS4 Pro w/1 tb Samsung 860 Evo SSD, and Sony x800e 4k hdr tv. I plan on getting PS5 Slim/Pro early 2024. I still have Og Xbox 1 too and 3 other even older gen consoles. I feel like the Series S is not a real current gen game console. It's definitely underpowered Tflops GPU performance and power, and it certainly can't do native 4k resolution gaming. This generation of gaming is all about 4k gaming. The storage is way too small, there's no disc drive either. This is a big negative too. Yes, you got game pass and digital games but what about people that like some disc games/content etc. I think it's smart to just spend/save some more $ and pony Up for a PS5 or Series X and get a 4k HDR tv to. Or if you're in my gaming situation just wait until PS5 Slim/ Pro releases. The funny thing is a last gen Xbox one X w/SSD upgrade could outperform the series S resolution/ performance. Unfortunately it's future games support will be gone; same with the PS4 Pro. My friend just bought a Xbox one X/1 tb Hdd on OfferUp for only 150$, and he's just going to sell his Og Xbox 1 for like 100$. I mostly game on my Pro so I'm not upgrading my Xbox 1.

Thank you for your comment brother. Most next gen titles look fantastic on the Series S when viewed from a distance. The issue in resolution is specially with the Old gen titles which have not been optimised. But the titles which have received the FPS Boost look great!

Xbox series S storage is my deal breaker when My Ps4 pro 1tb take care of all my games i have and wanna have down the line .. 350gb isnt enough and spending 299 for a external isnt worth it . If you wanna have a library without having your console saying to free up space get or stay with the pro .... I mean these new games are beyond 50gb plus the future add on and patches .... Ps4 pro has me covered till the slim versions come out

Thanks for your comment brother. That is one of the biggest issues with the Series S but at least we can store and play old games from an external HDD or SSD. There is some relief there but I agree brother, 360 GB just isn't enough given the size of the games these days.

Greetings from India brother. All good. If you are getting a used PS4 Pro at a good price then go for it. Cause PS4 Pro has great exclusive titles like Uncharted Series, God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, Infamous and Spiderman just to name a few. Even the new God of War Ragnarok and Horizon Sequel will be released on the PS4 Pro so you are good to go for a good 2-3 years on the PS4 Pro still.

Series X is definitely better but if you already have the PS5 I think the Series S should serve you well as a second machine. That's the combo I have now.

I'd say get either an Xbox Series X or the PS5 instead of the PS4. The next gen titles are only now surfacing and you wont be able to play some of these new gen titles in their full glory on the PS4, some titles may be next gen exclusive altogether and you may miss out on experiencing them. Therefore, my suggestion would be to go for a next gen console brother.

Yup and has a LOT more exclusives games, that are 100 times better than ANYTHING MS can create.

Xbox series s is an amazing console I went from PS4 to the Xbox just purely cuz I’m saving up for a graphics card for my pc but the graphics and the FPS is a big jump the Xbox feels a lot smoother and better feeling. I’ve always hated the Xbox controllers and the fact you need to buy batteries after all these years which is bs but most games if not all of them I play keyboard and mouse. And not many people buy physical copies of games anymore so it’s easier but it being only 500gb isn’t enough but if you’re looking to buy the Xbox series s, DO NOT BUY the suggested expansion hard drives because they ask stupid prices for it, I brought an expansion hard drive that works for the Xbox 1tb which was under £30 I think if you want the link just comment under this👍

It seems like the load times were completely skipped over. There was a timer for the PS4 but I didn't see one for the Xbox. I will say out of all these comparison videos this is the only one that compares these two consoles specifically.

I was looking for the load times comparison between the two but from what I saw, it looks like your video is the only one comparing those specific consoles. Playstation is also coming up with their Playstation Plus Extra and Deluxe subscription although I doubt it will be as good as Game Pass in the first year.

ONE HUGE INFLUENCE for making me choose the S was how Bethesda became a Xbox eclisive...id love a PS5 but im jst to inlove with BGS stories and world design...

@Don Zackery Yes brother. And the PS5 is still not available here in India. I guess i will now have to buy one next year. I'm still very happy with my PS4 Pro and the SSD definitely helps a little wit the load times. :)

Please help me bro, I m so confused that which one should I buy xbox series s or ps4 slim version. I m casual player mainly will get time to play at weekends only or on holidays. So should I go for preowned ps4 or should I go for xbox series s.

Go with the Xbox Series S in this case brother. You will be able to play Next Gen games and also FPS Boost and Game Pass are simply awesome!

@@BabitSingh but dont you think game pass will be costly to me as I will play games on weekends or on holidays, so month will come to end so quick and I cant use the game pass upto the full extend. And to complete one game it might be take 2 month and have to take 2 month game pass. U got it what I am trying to say

@@rahul00741 I get you brother. Game pass is only 499 a month but it offers over 440 games as of today. You can keep downloading and playing at your own sweet time. But whenever you do you have the FPS boost on older titles and plus the Series S can play Next Gen titles whereas the PS4 slim can only play last gen titles. Lastly but most importantly it depends on the type of games you play. If you like the type of exclusives on Sony go with Sony. Else go with the Series S.

PS4 Pro has more 4K titles but most of them are still last gen. Series S is a next gen console and you will be able to play all the next gen titles on it.

Yeah probably it's best to get an xbox, although the ps4 pro does have better upscaling, it has checkerboard rendering which the xbox s doesnt have.

The biggest issues with the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X is their you is woefully under power by their CPU, older RAM and HDD. An SSD only salvages so much on SATA3.

I agree brother. The SSD alone makes a huge difference. I connected an SSD to a PS4 Pro and even that makes a difference but it still can’t keep up with the newer hardware on the current gen.

Just ordered a Xbox series s from Amazon today just curious to see if it loads games faster than the PS4 pro which am currently using 🤔

Depends on the game titles brother. I would get the Xbox series S between the two cause of the current gen titles but again it depends on what type os games and exclusives you like.

PS4 runs at higher resolution on most games, Series S better (more solid framerates). But it doesn't have near the exclusives that PS4 has, the only other that comes close is Nintendo. So I'll stick with the Pro, looks great, runs great (slightly louder fan) but overall still the console to have. 118 million people aren't ready to get rid of their PS4's few quite a few more years!! Myself included...nah.

I honestly bought a ps4 pro last month and it works amazing , i think the fact the ps4 pro jailbreak is stable and supports all games that have cm out till now seemed no brainer for me, tho next year imma get a ps5 as im not going to miss out on spider man 2 and wolverine.

@@tarktayfur4002 thats a tough one as eventho series s is next gen its main upside is game pass consisting of online and not physical games. Considering how ps4 has a better set of exclusives and how its games are really cheap right now i would recommend ps4 pro

@@tarktayfur4002 It ultimately gets down to the type of games you play, the games you mentioned in the previous message are available on both platforms so its no biggie. But if you like to play titles like God of War, Uncharted, Horizon then these are exclusively available on the Playstation. So buy according to the games you like brother. Also, the Series S is an all digital console so if you like physical discs then you will be disappointed there.

My opinion :Ps4 pro players really don't need to upgrade to xbox s until and unless u r huge fan of multiplayer games.. Just for the sake of better fps... If u want to make ur ps4 pro faster then change ur hdd to ssd... Save for ps5
