I can just directly update from old Evilnat to New one? That's awesome! In the past I always updated to official Sony version and THEN had to re-do all the annoying steps to jailbreak.

It needs to be in your usb formatted to fat32 /PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP

No you need to make sure your system is cfw compatible all phat and some slim are 100% compatible but super slims are not
