I love this game ott. - but I think there is a massive wasted opportunity in not letting you brawl with Cynder during those moments when the stroy is pitting them against each other. Like the Pirate gladiator arena, and the face off at the finale. Heck - there could even have been a moment at the beginning when you fight in training under the supervission of the guardians (in a sort of - learn the - controls - kind of way) before Cynder leaves.

The nostalgia is real, I remember turning on my PlayStation in the middle of the night to play this game and it was the time of my life! I can’t wait to play this game 11 years later :)

This is so nostalgic to me I was extremely young and surprisingly can only just remember this game from my childhood when I played the ps2 and as I slowly got older I got the ps3 and now the ps4 so awesome coming back to a game that I was to young to understand remembering my younger days of gaming and I hope I can carry this gift of gaming through my life

I wasnt a big fan of this game when I was little so I just watched my brothers play it. that's probably because I preferred the bright, happy older spyro games lol looking back at this now, I would play it more seriously if I still had it

this is one of the better spyro games, and I should know! I have them all! I miss the old Spyros. they were the best series ever. now skylanders has turned spyro into Dora the explorer!

At the time, this ending and the corresponding song made me cry as a child.

1:17:00- "OMG the purple dragon is coming! Quick hide!"

The ending was so awesome... I almost cry for it.. It really touch me

made the mistake of getting the gba version back in the day. this one has more to it--in literally everything. i vaguely remember the script as this version goes up to the point i put the cartridge down forever.thank you for putting this up

Nostalgia. This was my first ps2 game along with Crash of the titans

Tip: if you upgrade Earth breath you can annihilate most bosses, use Dragon Time and start spamming the Earth Breath button and watch the boss's health just disappear

Code for Dark Spyro on PS2: First go to the pause menu then do this code R2 L2 R2 L2 L1 L1 R1 R1 L1 R1 L2 L2 R2 R2 then press the start button then..... YOU HAVE DARK SPYRO!!! Here is a tip with using Dark Spyro if you wanna defeat an enimie in, literely, a FLASH then do dragon time (slow motion) and use Dark Spyros dark magic then that enimie is defeated just.... like..... THAT!! :D

I noticed that, its pretty simple to do. In game coding you simply type up a list and register some simple commands to the list, enabling a random name generator for each entity on the screen in the game.

damn dude this game had a grate cast! 10/10

Now I know what happens in A New Beginning and The Eternal Night after I did so many playthroughs of DOTD. Thank you so much for giving me the rundown of what happened. A fantastic game series, but I'll never understand why the third game looks a little different from the last two. Huh.

Its because an entirely different development team worked on Dawn of the Dragon. Krome Studios did not make Dawn of the Dragon, though they were originally slated to

Sorry if you like this series but skylanders just sucks. The gameplay is alright but really the only 2 reasons people buy characters is for extra lives and getting more efficient characters. You have to buy better characters to try and beat a game.

I really wish these games were better; I've read up the story and it sounds like it could've made for a pretty epic trilogy.

The voice for the Chronicler seems to sound like Gandalf in some cutscenes or the actor whom did Angier in Skyrim perhaps?

Oh thanks to Wikipedia the one who plays the Chronicler is the same person whom did Zal Koris Vas Quib Quib in Mass Effect 2 and 3 I knew that voice sounded familiar in some respect.

The legend of spyro was only a trilogy, sadly. you and i both want more Games like this :/ BUT: July 13 2014 there is a confirmed movie, i beleive

I bought Dawn of the Dragon on the Xbox and the first scene in the game is Spyro and Cynder breaking out of the crystal. Then I wondered "How did they get in their in the first place." Great now I have to buy the previous game to figure out that part. Then I'm like "Wait, I'll go find someone on KZread!" Well done by the way. The only part thats misunderstanding is that in the end he turns into the crystal to save his friends. When did he get the power in the first place? If it was previously in the video, than I already forgotten by the end, anyway. I hope you do a Dawn of the Dragon play through. Peace Out

I can't be the only one who had to KZread a LOT of parts in the game cuz they were too confusing

Ok, I'll admit it. You were a bit faster than TheMetasapia, DreadArkive, and ECDT1089 at 1:28:45. But I think you might be a little too impatient in "A New Beginning" than "The Eternal Night" and Dawn of the Dragon."

Eddie R I understand that. It's just that if I were playing games like this on PlayStation, Xbox, Wii, or GameCube, I'd make sure that nothing gets left unchecked. I mean, what if you missed a couple of gems left on the ground, or a couple of enemies undefeated? And yes, I can be a bit picky. Granted, I have never played any of these these games,--except "Dawn of the Dragon" in the DS version--but I think it's best to follow the advice and strategies of the other players' walkthroughs, so that way you find a way to get past the levels faster, without going around willy-nilly.

This game is Jak II level hard. I am so proud to have beaten it.

Yeah the first time you play this game it is hard but the more I played thus the easier it got but Jak 2 is still harder in my opinion
