I hade the same problem and tried everything without any success Finally after so many researchers the problem was easy to fix Just check the power button there is glue that melt after time and create some kind of simultaneous pushes on the system I took off the button and cleaned the glue and used any rubber to test press and my vita is working fine for over a week now. Check also the rubber behind the power button it get internally stuck and make the problem happen To be sure as i say take it off completely. Guys don't forget to thank me

I have solid orange light when plugged in and won’t turn on. When I unplug orange light goes off and nothing. Any help would be great I’ve swapped a known good battery same thing. Also a know good power ribbon still same thing I’m now thinking power is not getting to switch

In my case it solved the problem, I had another one that I fixed by welding the wire straight to the board (without conector). I won't warranty you that will work, you need to try and see if work for you

Hi, this problem happened to me after opening the vita, the solution that worked for me was disconnecting the flex cables and cleam them with Isopropyl alcohol, after that, my vita was charging normally. I hope this helps

I used the flat head and the whole thing came off the board. Now it's for sure broken.

Ok. You need you weld the 3 wires to the 3 spots on the board, make sure do not confuse positions, make sure each spot it's separated from each other. Welding those 3 cables in the right position as being very careful of avoiding short circuit it's going to work fine. I did in my nephew psvita and did work.

in my vita when you charge it there is a orange light that does not blink like a normal charging vita but it wont turn on, i tried all the steps that i found except on opening the back part cuz im not brave enough so i let it charge for overnight and still not opening plss help

@petersavchenco9826 yes, the problem was that the flex cables were dirty. They had a little bit of grease, so i cleaned them with isopropyl alcohol. After that it was working perfectly fine. I hope this helps :)

You should probably WARN people that this procedure will do a complete WIPE of the system. If you had it modified and loaded up with games then prepare to reconfigure it from scratch.
