Still got my vita 2000 hacked the hell outta it and love it

I would get the newer version this time as long as they fix this whole WiFi issues and let us use it anywhere without lost connection issues

Yeah me too! That’s actually an early version of the original Vita which said PlayStation on the front instead of Vita! How much would you be willing to pay for a Vita 2 type device?

@@purepsx honestly 250$ when I got my first Vita I got it used in 2016 For 169$ today I own 4 in different colors Ice 🧊 silver OLED ,Ice white OLED and then the Aqua Blue 2K. I work overnights The Vita❤️ has been my best investment ‼️‼️‼️

I’d buy it in a flash if it’s backwards compatible with vita and uses a micro sd/ m.2 ssd slot that can take 8tb

Mmm that would be nice but I doubt it will have a cartridge slot for vita games, I can imagine this one being all digital unfortunately

No i would not buy one. The reason is because it's would be limited compared to them pc handhelds on the market.

Not interested in another PS handheld. I like the Portal because I can access games I already own at full quality from anywhere. An update to install older games onto external storage to play directly from the Portal would be awesome. It's already been hacked to play PS3 games.

Doubt it. It doesn’t have processing capabilities, its just a wireless screen and bad connection which users have reported make it horrible to take outside not to mention you can’t use it on the plane..

@@MJT-DA You can use it on a plane if you pay for the Wi-Fi, but I'm sure the in flight Wi-Fi reliability isn't great. Yes, you can play old games on the portal. Google the Portal hack that proved it's possible. I doubt Sony will release a first party version of this, but that's why there's a mod community. Sony seems to prefer the streaming route $$$.

the portal is trash ... especially for online games!! Hoping the vita would actually have the portal controller but a standalone console ...
