So I'm from the USA, but I've been to Europe 6 different times to various countries. And every time I listen to house music like this, it makes me think of Europe. Europeans love their house/EDM music, and I completely understand why. Ever since I was a child I've enjoyed music like this. This song makes me think of my trips to Europe.

I always think of EDM as an American thing - since Tiesto left the trance train and made his way over to you he appeared to be responsible for its rise over there. I think Europe is definitely where most of the EDM - (and I use that term in its original sense - trance, progressive, techno, house) is played and is produced; Holland and Germany I'm especially looking at you, but dont forget house music in Chicago back in the 80's influenced things too. While EDM does stand for electronic dance music as a whole, it has also appeared as a subgenre in itself in the last 5 years or so.

Prydz's ability to make epic anthems with what is really a pretty simple melody and mix is so damn impressive. Technically speaking, I can remake a pretty good approximation of this just based on my little home rig. It's not complex.
