Prussic Acid Poisoning in Sudan-sorghums
Beef producers should be aware that prussic acid poisoning is a threat to their animals
each fall. Sudan grass, sorghums and their hybrids contain cyanogenetic glycosides that are
converted to prussic acid during the digestion process.
