Totally agree dear friend. This tool upgrades capabilities. But still the manual work is more interesting to me. That is why your work is very special 👍

Great video. But if I could offer one suggestion it would be that you’re using your step clamps incorrectly. If you stand your triangular piece up vertically, you’ll see the teeth of your clamping bar will full engage and more positively lock into the triangular ramp. That’s how they’re machined to work together. Hope that helps and thanks for the video. 👍

This is incredible to be able to have at home for so cheap. The replacement parts you could make with melting, casting and milling at home

1:14 can you tell me about this? On this video there is a huge wriggle (free play) for 2nd axis. Do You have the same ?! it is unacceptable for any kind of precise work

@@miladinseratlic5984 On my MF70 there is little play on the top axis of the XY-table. I've so far made only small test part in the middle of the table and haven't yet investigated if there's something that can be done for that play.

Love this machine. Where did you get the upgrade kit and does it come with the circuit board. Could you help me to get started. I have high school cnc training . All I remember I’d G90 and G91. Absolute and incremental. Lol!

Good day Sir, I am getting ready to order material for this. When I check the Amazon link provided there is a NEMA 17 version and a NEMA 23 Version, Not sure which one I need but as you point out NEMA 17 Steppers I suspect I need the NEMA 17 kit or should I get NEMA 23 steppers? Amazon also recommends a timing Belt but I suspect that is for a 3D printer and not the MF70,

Thank you very much Bob! You need to use arduino card for cnc machine. You have alot of information on KZread about how to setup and control the motor. After that you need to design with fusion 360 and to use cam option to convert the cad files to Gcode. With the Gcode you start create cnc parts. Good luck!

But what board did you use? You did not linked it. How do you upload code? What software do you use? Please make another video.

I'm pretty happy with the result. The advantage of this device is that you can milling soft metals like aluminium and brass. But its a small machine for very small parts. About cheap cnc Router, I can not compare to a machine I do not know. Thank you for watching 👍

@@YooProjects thank you. But I see some kits come with the nema 23 stepper motors but some articles I've read up that the nema 17 motor are equaly as good. I work eith lathes and bench drills ect but just bought myself the proxxen mf70 so I appsalutly nothing about stepper motor specs ect. The kits that they sell on amazon are almost as expensive as the cnc it's self so I'm looking into trying to find the parts individually to see if I can cut the costs. Any info you could suggest would be amazing. Kind regards

@@sebastienbleau7870 You can make little parts from wood, plastic, epoxy, brass and aluminium. But you need to learn the how to use mf70, you need to learn the setup of speed on X, Y and Z axis. And how to use right cuting tool for your project. Good luck 🤗
