Sucks cause I used to watch braille as a kid. An adult now, seeing how braille is doing is absolutely atrocious and it’s cause of Aaron. Donating over thousands of dollars to a Scientology Church instead of paying their employees and funding his home town park. @@diehldrifts in the past, once they got their grip around you, it was hard to escape because no one was around to pull you out by giving you the truth. today, all you need to do is youtube scientology and you'll get the unbaised truth so It's hard for their song and dance to have any lasting effect unless they either got you before the age of the internet (like kyro) or you were born into it (like mormonism). I think thats what OP means by toothless.

Aaron cant just go off spouting crap. In modern times you have to be quiet or you can get sued. I wanted him to say more also, but i get it. If there is any pending legal case he has to be extremley careful.

Been a Braille fan & sub for many years & had no idea about any of this, thanks for bringing it to light. Encouraging kids into this cult like religion with the suggestion it could help them skate better & with less injury is disturbing to say the very least.

Thank you so much for having the courage to speak out on this cult. It is so important to educate more and more members of the public on its practices and horrific abuses, and it is terrifying to think of how many kids Aaron has drawn into it.

I messaged braille and Aaron said “i don’t think that has anything to do with skateboarding and has no place in the community” (about him being the leader of Scientology) and honestly i know its wrong but i kinda have to half agree with him on that one that just because he is on a skate channel dosent mean that it has absolutely anything to do with skateboarding.

Thats the foundation you can donate to when you purchase from braille. What he does with his paycheck is on him whether we like it or not.

He says, Braille is only filming 1 day per week now after Gabe left, it takes Ricky 5 hrs to drive in from home... It's NOT feasible anymore. He just needs someone else to sort out his Work Visa. So he has been live streaming on Twitch , building a following and getting monetised.... 👍✊

not really, Aaron Kyro did a LOT for skateboarding, it's anybody's opinion whether it was a good change or not, but it's not like skating became a scientology hub. And even if it did, it doesn't seem like one of those dangerous cults where people drink koolaid. This is purely the case of us, the audience, getting too curious about what someone does in their bedroom. Something like, a reputable pastor, always preaches the right things, is kind and generous to all people, but people leave him after finding out he's gay. Never once talked about sex in his church, but people dug it up anyway and are judging him for that, an inherent homophobia, even though it has nothing to do with what he does as a pastor and no matter how much good he does, some people just can't get over their homophobia. And that is the case with Braille, no matter how much good they do, they just can't get over their Scientologicalphobia or cult-phobia.

I really don't know how to feel about all of this... I grew up with Aaron teaching me how to skate and viewed him as an amazing mentor, friend, and teacher. To hear and see proof of all of this... I want to say i'm upset but.. I just feel sick.

I looked it up. Executive Directors of scientology make anywhere from $165,000 - $210,000 per year. So, even if Braille goes bankrupt. AK still has that to fall back on. I dont know much about scientology, but to see a good skateboard company die off is just a sad situation.

A community skatepark should be funded by community, using taxes in a socialist system or fundraising/sponsoring in a capitalist society. It's not because he could have payed for it himself, he should. What the man does in his own time with his own money (religion) doesn't really concern me, just leave the kids out of it.

he is old and he's running a business, you go skate every day and work 40 hours a week when youre 40 years old with injuries. He cares as much about skating as any other skater. Also, whats wrong with being into something for the money? Most people in the skate industry do it for the money, whats wrong with that? They have to live and eat man.

I always wondered why it was called braille 😅😅😅 now I get it...maybe lol. They help the "blind see (in this case children) whatever they want them to see. Also, some of the members seemed awkward from the start, just like how Aaron makes cringy comments 😅😅 Skateboarding is just the simplest approach they have to get close to children and "teach" them while they helped them "control their emotions". Thats why some quit skating cuz they cant control themselves 😅😅

Sounds like how Protestants and Catholics sit in corners at times and preach on a speakers but dont ask for forceful donations.

But I guess it's not about his audience, it's his direct in-person influence such as when he invites skaters to the Braillehouse and the Braille army itself. They are constantly baked and I wouldn't be surprised if he talked scientology then.
