My head cannon is that it didn’t matter who consumed who and that Alex personality eventually overrides heller’s. Allowing Alex to become twice as strong

not sure if he can overrides but I think he really was trying to hide from the elizabeth greene's son, as I understand he was stronger than Mercer Besides is so weid that Mercer's sister is his ally in prototype 1 and in 2 suddenly is her foe, ironically she was in red zone so.... weird I think all that happened in 2 was Mercer's plan to get Heller's ADN because he could not consume Heller

​@@rogeliomartinezmendoza325because he said in the first part that he was a virus and not Alex, and he had nothing to do with his sister. In the second, he wanted power, and therefore he no longer needed anyone.

Real Alex died and so did his personality that's why he has no memory to begin with. The "Alex mercer" we're playing is the virus itself. He just gain human consciousness by consuming the Alex and use it as his default human form. A virus that becomes something more. To me that's whats makes him truly unique and superior than heller.

You should add that Mercer's shield can be broken, Heller's - not

That's because it's Alex' s armor is the one that doesn't break. Alex' shield provides protection without sacrificing mobility in exchange for being breakable.

Los verdaderos fans del prot saben que el 1 es mejor que el 2 y además porque el 2 acabó con la saga y por eso muchos lo odian y si alex dejo ganar a el tipo es como si peliaras contra 1 hormiga y que te de lastima alex no lo queria matar porque lo veia como un hijo

Even though prototype 2 have better graphics and Heller is stronger than Mercer but prototype 2 is worst and you even can't compare it to prototype 1. I mean the story and the combo is trash and you can't eve combin your skills which can literally make awesome combos like prototype 1 It doesn't matter if it new or not all those who played prototype 1 all know that prototype 2 isn't even close to it
