Cause in the first game Alex Mercer died right and he consumed a bird and with 1 little small corpse he got his form Alex became into blood and his blood was alive so when heller consumed Mercer Alexs blood is still on the floor so if a zombie a brawler or a bird gets close to Alexs blood he can consume something and get his form back but since there are no zombies anymore only a bird can get there and buala Merc

Alex Mercer is not a clone. He is the virus. When he released the virus in penn station in the first game he was killed and the virus took over his body. That's why he had no memory. And he can't kill James Heller because Heller stills has that drive to save his daughter which makes him more human then Mercer.

Oryxbruh They literally were two different people.In prototype 1,Many of Alex's memories were intact thus it had the same personality as the REAL Alex Mercer that was consumed by the virus at the start of P1.At the end of P1,the blacklight virus realized that it was not Alex Mercer and that it just had his memories.By the second game,the blacklight virus had memories of its own.It no longer had Mercer's persona.

Mercer will be the protagonist of prototype 3 this hás already been confirmed but the release date hás not been confirmed because It is taking too long

hard to believe Alex comes back or who ever the True Zeus is just read the comics about Hellers life after he finds someone who tells him he only killed the false Zeus, the True Zeus is still out their after consume him he even sees Alex is still alive. just saying what I found

It would have been cool if alex mercer or james heller were in mortal kombat like kratos

its not that he went mad with power. he just lost faith in humanity so he was going to turn the world into evolved (much better than being a walker by the way) and in doing so truely unifying the world under one hive mind and elliminating sickness. destroy the world? no he was trying to help it. heller just couldnt stop thinking about himself and killed the man who gave him power. if it wernt for mercer heller wouldve died long before he got to alex we saw how his fight with mercer went before

Trey Shearon I agree. Mercer was badass but it was a awsome perspective shift to someone who had something worth fighting. just wished Heller didnt swear so much and the game was larger open world and longer than what it was.
