Don't worry - the President of Georgia said in an interview last week that she's not sign this new law onto the statute books. Let's see what pressures will come on her from the government when she sticks to her stated intention.

Parliament can override the presidential veto
The same bill is active in the USA. What an irony 😂
The portrayal of this law as uniquely Russian is misleading; in reality, the US has a similar requirement mandating the declaration of foreign money when investing. It's crucial to trace the origins of funds, and the Parliamentarians of Georgia deserve credit for this move. This time, the protesters were mistaken in their assessment.
Let's call this 'Australian Style'. Will the protests stop? Why call it 'Russian style'? We have a similar law in Australia.

That would be the same as the US foreign agents bill.

Perfectly fine for a repressive and authoritarian government, indeed. It all depends of point of views... 🤡
