I was just like you when I started my natural hair journey. I’ve always done my and other people hair. However, when I became natural I was stuck. I had the same mentality re the manageability of my hair🧐. Once I saw how beautiful and how versatile my/our hair is, I fell in love with my hair. I no longer wanted to wear it straight. I love love my natural CURL pattern. I found all kinds of hairstyles to do. My hair is my pride. Definitely!

You are very creative and your styles are simple yet elegant the way you accent it with colorful strings. I been on this natural journey since 2011. In the beginning it was a struggle but I learned about my hair from seminars and videos and fellow females who are natural. I learned to cherish my hair. I work with caucasian people who love my hair and the way I style it. Kinky hair is the best and healthiest hair if take of it. I am going copy your styles and experiment more with my hair. Great reminder about taking care of SELF. You’re also right...We can learn to do things OR learn to do things better as adults. During quarantine, I’ve learned to cornrow my son’s hair SO MUCH BETTER...Not an embarrassment anymore. 🙂 I also finally succeeded at feed in braids on myself. I’m excited to get better.

i dont like doing my hair, and i've learned that by leaving my hair alone for long periods of time has helped me grow my hair really long... I'm now at the point where I want to present my hair in a cute style but still leave it alone, but I'm constantly in this vicious and miserable cycle where Im not as creative, it takes a large chunk of time that I dont have , and it physically hurts. This is SO encouraging.. and I absolutely love the pieces of hair you add to the buns area. I'll recreate this
