Since we cannot lead students out on trips to our Lowcountry National Wildlife Refuges and National Forest, we have decided to bring the wild to you!
Up first: learn about shorebirds and the how Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge works to protect shorebird nesting sites. Get a backstage pass and see all the hard work that goes into marking areas where shorebird nesting is common. And then learn about ways you can help us protect these beautiful shorebird species.
