I stopped liking Australia much since the lockdowns and thought I'd leave no matter what. Sold the furniture and the car, left the job... Not sure if I am nuts or courageous, but I am traveling from one Euro country to another, trying to work out where I can live most with the least money. I truly liked Hungary, including the beauty of the town and the fact that there are no groups of illegal immigrants that made me quite uncomfortable in Austria, Sweden, and Germany. It seems quite peaceful here. I pay for the temporary accommodation less to what I paid in rent in Melbourne. On top of it, my utilities have been included in my rent here. This was through the roof in Melbourne. Only in gas and electricity, I paid around $500 Aussie dollars a month. I truly like everything here, from people to food, great public transport, restaurants, funky cafe culture, the bridges, the river, their spas, and cheap and good dentists. I am hoping to live here half a year and another half around Mediterranean, Split or similar. I'll also check out Romania. Unfortunately , Western Eurpe has lost its charm and isn't how I remembered it 30 years ago.

It will be interesting to know how you will feel about Romania. You sound young and free so probably won't be looking for schools and kids stuff but it will be interesting to follow your journey. I stopped liking Australia too even before the lockdown, since the metadata collection, push to cashless society, taxing crypto as asset, Israel Folau saga..etc. I feel we are not free and the cost in Sydney in not much different from Melbourne but with a family and kids in school it is not easy to escape even though we have 3 different passports

An American can renew a tourist visa for 36 months before needing to leave the country for one day and then you can repeat the process as many times as necessary. If you are over 50 years old you can get the SRRV retirement visa for a deposit of $20,000, or $10,000 if you can show a pension of at least $800 per month. SRRV holders pay zero tax on worldwide income and only pay tax on Filipino income. English is widely spoken and the girls are friendly. It is a good deal.

The best countries to move from today’s and future BRICS are Brazil, Argentina, Russia, Turkey …just let’s hope we can transfer our savings accounts safely there.

Canada is definitely headed toward citizenship-based taxation. It's not a question of "if" but rather "when". Therefore, if that prospect doesn't excite you, then now is the time to seek out that second passport. I obtained my Swiss passport by descent and that was the best decision I ever made.

I lived in Russia for 10 months in 3 different towns and found it to be a much better place to live than what we're told. I liked it. And most of the world actually really likes Russia and Russians. I don't think it would be a bad place to get a 2nd passport at all.

Yeah … about that, I’d definitely get suspicious if Russia suddenly started offering a residency or citizenship program, especially if the process suspiciously resembled a MEP(Military Entrance Processing). I’m not saying they would do it but … actually, yeah that’s exactly what I am saying. They need boots on the ground, said boots are fairly likely going under the ground and foreign boots that just arrived in the country are fairly unlikely to create any civil unrest. I mean think whatever you want, but that’s a bet with a poor risk to reward ratio if I ever saw one.

En the end the best place to live is off grid living in a rural area in any country. Yeah not many are fit for that lifestyle but I believe the way this world going that going to be gold.

Chile is for far the best, modern, beautiful, clean country, chilean passport is a visa to almost 170 countries all over the world, every one and all Américas, Europe and most of Asia.

I love it.

As an American, what I would do first is get the Portugal golden visa that only requires being there 7 days a year that then let's me apply for citizenship in 5 years. After securing the permanent residence via the CBI program, then get a Caribbean passport, most likely Antigua Barbuda since they're crypto friendly and I know folks down there but I'm open to other places. And then after that, Argentina might make sense as a Mercosur country that will give you access to Brazil though I'm not sure how easy Argentina is to get. Not really sure what else could possibly needed beyond that. Maybe you acquire some residencies but I don't know about needing more passports or how easy it is to get others. A Southeast Asian one? Malaysia? What about Africa? Is there anything that let's you stay in any African country as long as you want? Where that country is safe also.

Avoid becoming a citizen of Argentina at all costs - once a citizen its 100% impossible (and illegal under their laws) to renounce EVER! Any citizenship you acquire by choice needs to be ones that you can renounce should you feel the need to in the future. Argentina have been considering citizenship based taxation in recent years and if their socialist policies (huge welfare programs) keep enlarging and/or require more money, they'll likely introduce citizenship based taxation. Also be aware that most countries outside CANZUK & CUNA have mandatory military service - whilst they might exempt you from it, any current or future children you have will be legally required to fulfill it unless they can get an exemption (many countries don't give exemptions just because you live abroad). Most countries in Africa & Asia are borderline impossible to become a citizen of as even if the govt wanted to grant you citizenship, most of these countries prohibit dual/multiple citizenships. The best you'll get is permanent residency but still be aware that permanent residency may have military service requirements for any current or future children you have.

Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil and Paraguay are already the same common market (Mercosur or Mercosul). I am from Brazil and do not need my passport to travel across the borders. And if I want to get residence in any of our neighbors, the process is a bit easier. Same privileges they have here.

I've heard Paraguay and Uruguay are safe but I don't know if they have any programs for CBI. Getting Portugal could get me Brazil if I'm willing to live in Brazil. I doubt I want to do that though even though I've been to Rio 6 times. Maybe I'll be fine with the three passports and a few residences and just call it a day. I'm assuming if I have a permanent residence for one of the Mercosur countries, it applies for the others? So in other words, I don't have to pay attention to any 90 day window? I guess I probably only need to pay attention for tax purposes?

Because there is no quality of life. Constant loadshedding, high crime, political instability, the extreme cost of living, constant states of civil unrest ... from the outside looking in, look at the headlines out of SA and ask yourself objectively if you could enjoy life there if you have no concept or idea beforehand. A LOT of people I know back home can't, hence the economic exodus out of the country. On the ground, the sentiment is "Run and don't look back." It doesn't evoke a sense of adventure and wonder. SA is great for a holiday, because you can enjoy the presentation on a surface level. As a semi-permanent refuge from the rest of the world? "Run. And don't look back."

I'm working towards a Russian residence permit at the moment, I have found as a westerner so much business from being able to transact in a country that the west does not have access to, best personal decision I made, not to everyones taste, but certainly to mine.

For example, Novosibirsk, a large city in Siberia also nicknamed Siberian Chicago, has so many places to visit, both cultural and nature, that a typical Texan could not even imagine. When researching a possibility of moving to Portugal, I came across an article written by some Russian guy, who lived in Portugal and compared moving from Moscow to Portugal like moving from the 21 century to the 14th century. There are yt channels by westerners who moved to Russia. Just yesterday, I saw two videos, one about an Australian family who got the Russian citizenship and bought a big chunk of land in Siberia near Novosibirsk, and then they visited an American who set 100 percent off-grid house and farm with lots of land in Siberia (far away from potential WW3). Property tax in Russia is about 0.2 percent of the value of the property. Search for them by keywords like "living in Russia," etc. Inability to transfer money to Russia looks like a great obstacle for moving over there now. Also, on February 2-!4, 2.22, Russia magically cured the whole world from the puni..dem.i-c. Just look how abruptly the West ended the naraaurative of fighting the pui,ni..deum.i-c. Must be magic.

As a Brazilian you can live in Portugal for 1 year without a visa and it is easier to do exchanging between Lusophone countries such as: Portugal, Brazil, Cape Verde, San Tome and Principe, Angola, Mozambique, Goa-Diu, Macau and East Timour.

come to south india guys,its realy amazing,good cimate,good people,development also next level,lively people,cheap to live,surveilance by government also less,i live in paris from last one year,i thought it will be some other level life in europe,but now i understand its actualy a cage and very cold and depressing life,in summer it is too hot than india also in europe,you have to live with your gadgets in europ or you will become an alcohol addict or some other addict because you are in a cage,i feel sad for old people living alone in there houses in europe,i am missing south india badly

@@xtc2v sir you will get for very cheap price..you will get 10000square feet property at average rate of 20000-25000 euros, so. Sometimes even for lesser price also..kochin,allepey,Goa, varkala,calicut,pondicherry,are good areas to live near sea.. If you know to run a cafe it will be easy for you to get a long-term visa by starting a cafe..

Many thanks Its a possible at that cost. On the other hand I think I need an indian business partner (50%) whereas Russia has no such restriction. Russia gives citizenship/russian passport for business immigrants. If its the agricultural sector they give 2 hectares free. Having a second passport always opens up wider opportunity@@aaryan861

Brazil's taxes are too high, and I read somewhere about Argentina .."A foreigner living in Argentina, who is not an employee, will become a tax resident after the 12th month residing there, even if he or she has been absent for a temporary period." and "Tax residents in Argentina are subject to personal income tax on their worldwide income, whereas non-residents are taxed on their Argentine-source income".Not sure if that is true on not?? Bolivia is looking pretty good, maybe Paraguay, Ecuador. Then get a residency in Nicaragua or Honduras or Panama. Those 2 areas plus add an asian one (Cambodia or Vietnam) ...and you have Andrews trifecta!

I am from Brazil, have relatives in Argentina, love both countries but currently stick with the "guays" (Uruguay and Paraguay) for many reasons...

The problem with Honduras or Argentina is that u have to live there in order to get their citizenship. They don’t have citizenship by investment like the Caribbeans unfortunately

Why doesn't Argentina use the US dollar as their form of currency? They have struggle for years with their form. Banks are only open 10am to 3 to 330pm.

@@barneystinson6494 I don't live in Ireland anymore but I've been back in Dublin as recently as June and it seems the same to me as where I love now (London) and the rest of Europe - cost of living is absolutely ruining everyone and high taxes remain (not as high as the 52% my parents were paying 10-15 years ago in Ireland ofc, but still). Either way Europe is absolutely light years ahead of India, but what I meant was that an extra BRICS citizenship doesn't work for me even if (until I was 1 y o) I was eligible for it

My home taxes just dropped significantly on my home. Helping me with retirement. Nothing better than the US in my opinion. Taxable income rates increase yearly.

All of the information you need to move anywhere in the world (visa requirements, tax, etc) are available online on the websites of the various countries, blogs, etc. You don't need to pay anyone if you do your own research. It's not that hard. Don't wait for someone to teach you how to do it. You just got to pack your bags and go.

Just remember that if you get Argentinian citizenship you can't ever renounce it and also note that they've been seriously considering citizenship based taxation over the last few years.

Can I get citizenship in DPRK?

All LatinAmerica is in the Western Hemisphere! The U.S. is also in America not in Europe! Brazil is a Western Hemisphere country! That said, I agree that obtaining a second passport in a country not aligned with NATO would provide different levels of opportunities and freedoms. Taxation and laws are increasingly pervasive and harnessing people to first world countries! Having a 2nd passport also means you must obtain citizenship in that country! This process has different requirements for each country! Some are harder than others. Obviously you must reside and live for some time in whatever country you are seeking to obtain a passport in! Once achieved you will have a haven to provide freedoms to travel or to have economic opportunities denied to others. People with families are going to find this more difficult because they are more tied to their countries by families, friends and schools and work.

I am Brazilian, recently got a Maltese citizenship (EU passport still working in progress), and I am PR in Australia (with citizenship process on going). Wife and kids also the same (or similar rights). No one can hold us!
