Any advice for first time growers? I am in a higher humidity area than they are likely used to. Thanks!

Sorry for the delay I think that the most important aspect about Proteas are the soil, I live near Lisbon Ian’s it’s near the beach the soil is essencial sand and proteas love poor soil don’t give him any rich composition and no fertilizer, I use one específic for proteas, i have to higher humidity, 3 months of cold, some rain and hot summer and spring.
